Well I can fake it right! Could not sleep, so I am home at 5:30 stealing some internet time.

Work has been bad too. We have another girl leaving and my assistant will take her place, so once again I am without. It's hard to keep someone for 16000 a yearhmm

The boy's appointment went well. We seem to have found someone he likes to take to.

Hello all! I really need to be focused today and get some work done. Tomorrow is the consumer picnic. I am not sure if I am expected to help out or not. I am hoping not as I have a ton of work to do for next week's payroll.

Last night my sister called me and told me that she is getting married a week from Friday and that if I have any plans for that Saturday that I have to cancel them. That is Labor Day weekend. So in a week's notice she wants everyone to cancel their plans for a holiday weekend. no.gif

I of course will be there and I am happy for her, but the timing kinda blows. This is her 3rd marriage and they are just going to the courthouse on that Friday and are gonna try to do a casual celebration picnic on Saturday.

Man Woo, that's pretty crappy. It sounds like, if this is her third marriage, maybe she should make the engagement a bit longer...

yeah, the thing about my sis is that she is never wrong. There is no point in arguing with her. This morning I talked to her and asked if she realized what weekend that was and she said yeah. So as nicely as I could I pointed out that she was asking people in a weeks notice to cancel holiday plans to be there. She said "well it's no big deal. If they show, they show." I am sure that does not apply to me.

Howdy Folks,

I'm hanging out at home for a while yet. I've had intestinal issues since Monday. I suppose I should go get some medicine to see if I can make it better.

We did get some rain here yesterday. Its going to be much cooler today too which is a nice break. Its still in the 60's now.

Good morning all!!  I finally got my nighttime thunderstorm that I've been wanting.....there's nothing like watching lightning against a pitch-black sky!!biggrin  It's still humid here today and we may get another round of storms later on. 

Woo, sorry your sister picked the holiday week-end for her wedding.  Maybe you can still manage to get away on Sunday and Monday even though the traffic on I-75 will be horrendous on Monday. 

Ruby, glad to hear that you may have found someone your son will talk to!  Send me a pm so I know how you're doing.  How did your son's test turn out?  Hope he passed it!! 

Web, hope you feel better soon!  Maybe you should try the BRAT diet for a couple of days......nothing to eat but bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast.  Sounds horrid but it works.  smile

Hope everyone enjoys the day.  Friday is almost here!!

LOL, when the storm started last night I said to my husband "I wonder if Sandy is getting this one as well." smile I told him you had been whining about it. He said that it sucked because the wind was blowing like crazy that we couldn't really enjoy it cuz we couldn't open the windows. When we got up the tarp was blown off the trailer, bunjees and all. But the tarp was still there.

Yeah, the wind is pretty wild last night!  My dad has a huge covered front porch so I was able to sit out on it and really enjoy the storm without getting wet! smile
Glad your tarp was still there.  I was watching people's trash cans roll down the street, haha.

Hi all! I'm off to an expo today, nothing special but I need to put in an appearance.
