going to the library and cleaning and unpacking from the hotel- I am moving back in for now.

Supposed to go see Joe Walsh, but not sure now... need to find a babysitter for both.

WE GOT RAIN!!!!! It was glorious for about an hour. The lightning was spectacular!

This is the first Saturday I haven't had to water in two months. Now, if we could get some relief from the temps. It's supposed to hit 103 today. Wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't already bought us tickets to a double header of the Nashville Sounds baseball games tonight. I predict a lot of snow cones and Big Gulps in our future!

My Titans won against the Bills last night!! I know, I know... it's just preseason, but my uneducated eye thought they looked pretty decent. If there are any Titan season ticket holders out there, I'll be available mid September.

24 days and counting!!

Go see Joe Walsh Ruby. You'll regret it if you don't, and you need some time away.

I got woke up by the phone (telemarketer I assume, I didn't recognize the number and they didn't leave a message), and I couldn't go back to sleep. I think I'm going to chill for a bit before I go to Farmer's Market.

I am gonna try to go to the concert. Duane wants me to also. I am gonna check with the neighbor in a bit and then buy the tickets. I am looking forward to it regardless of what my screwed up family is doing!

Happy Saturday.

Today is mom-in-law's birthday. She's 84 today. She did get out of the hospital yesterday and is now back at the nursing home. The infection is better and she is REALLY happy to be back "home". We are going to fill the old car up with more Ethanol and go see her again today.

If the Alltel store there has the new phone on hand, I may get a new cellphone today. If they don't have it, I'll have to order it. We have a local dealer here, but they are not a "retail" store. If I get the phone here and it turns out that it sucks, I can't take it back. If I get it through the retail store, I have 14 days to make sure it is doing what I need.

So, yes, I will be spending a few hours away from the computer today . . . imagine that.

good morning. the rain was beautiful last night, and the wine and dinner was really good.

today I am at work for a bit, I think a trip to the farmers market is in order, then, weather permitting, firing up the grill...smile
