I'm on one of those dreaded calls with the cable company right now.  On hold.

There's a problem with their free security software and I'm getting the usual runaround where no one seems to know who can handle questions related to such an issue.

It's amazing to me businesses are capable of running themselves this way no.gif

No, not yet Ruby.

I'm back at work trying to get this business up and running. But I'm considering picking up something part time right now because the business start-up is MUCH slower going than I anticipated and I want to stop some of the bleeding from my savings.

I figure I only have a one-year cushion left, I don't want to let it get much lower than that.

In fact, today I'm working on some sales letters & calls for the cleaning biz too. I'm thinking if I pick up a couple extra accounts that'll buy me more time to work on this internet thing.

I'm also looking a bit to the future, just in case this whole thing doesn't take off I have a freind who's the HR person at Marquette University, she told me she could get me in there in some capacity if I wanted. It wouldn't be about the job though, it would be about the fact you get free college tuition if you're a full-time employee smile.gif WOO HOO! Now THAT'S a benefit!

i was up at 2:30 when my hubby left for work, but the moon was still shining full, so i went back to bed.  i couldn't sleep, so i opened my bedroom curtain and watched from bed between nods. 

right i feel like i haven't slept for days!  nothing a pot of coffee won't cure...

Howdy folks.

My first full day as a 41 year old. I don't think it has effected me a bit.

My wife really likes the look of the Buick LaCross:

A local lot has two of them so I looked at them yesterday afternoon. Doing that would basically put us back into the same as a monthly daycare payment. We really don't want to get strapped into a car payment again so we're still thinking about it. Our '93 Mazda 626 isn't going to keep going forever though.

Today is my first full day as a 41 year old. I don't think it has effected me a bit.

Yeah, we can wait. We are actually looking at used ones now.

One is a '06 loaded model with 35,000 miles for $17,500. It is really nice with about every option available, but it is quite obvious it was driven by a heavy smoker. The dealer also details cars and he said he could get about 90% of the smell out, but it would never completely go away.

The other is an '07 model with 13,000 miles for $21,000. He said he had "wiggle room" on the price on it. It still had the new car smell in it.

Our Mazda is still going good, but there are some little noises and things that just have me wondering about it. I'm afraid some major things are going to be cropping up soon. But, on the other hand, $350/month will do a lot of car repairs . . . so we just have to think about what we want to do.

I think I am here. I had to hurry up and get payroll built before they started messing with cable wires again. Only 2 of us had our computers working. So I pleaded with them to wait until I got payroll done. They replaced the router and all seems good again. I still need to enter the wages but the hard part is done. They probably got it all fixed just because I brought a Buffy DVD to watch just in case. laughing.gif

Web, a heavy smoker had my truck before I did, I have had it for 7 years now. A car dealership put a smoke bomb in it and got rid of most of the smoke. The only time I really smell it now is when it is humid and hot out.
