there is one person that will know for sure...but he probably wont tell me so that I am forced to listen to Freeze Frame

I actually do know....musicmatch went bye bye this month....it was bought out by yahoo music. try going to yahoo music and it should guide your through what you need to do...there was an automatic link a month or two ago that made the transition very easy......

This has left me VERY frustrated.

I loved MusicMatch, but the new Yahoo! Player SUCKS.

Ally, you SHOULD NOT be looking to listen to anything other than Freeze-Frame Radio! But if I could help you I would. I refuse to use the Yahoo! one, so I know nothing about it.

I do beleive however that newer versions of the players don't stream us anyway because Live365 put an end to it.

JR...I agree I loved MuscMatch and don't like Yahoo much.....I use it to put songs on my MP3 player!

Me too!

And it had SIMPLE tools for converting file sizes and types AND for renaming files.

Very hard ot find those tools in other programs

its a pain in the butt to use WMP to burn CD's andname files.

JR does the old version work at all anymore? All of my files "link broken" does that mean I have to fix them all?? or am I just screwed?

If you can reload the old version and NOT update it (turn off auto-updating) it can still be used for listening to your files and is full fuctioning.

But once you update it then it goes bad on ya

You can search online for old copies. I found a couple sites offering the old version downloads.

Ah, it must have been a computer issue then.

But if you can reinstall it, or do a computer restore to when it worked ok, you should be fine.

I love MusicMatch. It was the BEST player. I don't know why Yahoo destroyed most of it's best features.

PLUS I had a lifetime MusicMatch Plus subscription.

yeah, doesn't work.

They have a link where you can contact them if you were a MusicMatch Plus member, but quite frankly their player sucks so much I wouldn't want it anyway.

I WANT the one I bought and paid for, and that's no longer available nor being supported

basically they have just stolen everything. I cant add anything to the new player that is currently in my library either.
