We had a nice little rain last night and 50% chance again today. Have a great day, we have training meetings this morning so I won't be around much.

Hello all. I am not very happy. We have been battling bees badly this summer and we can't get them to go away. They have been getting into the girl's room and the bathroom. They are just swarming outside. Well yesterday when we got home I went to the bathroom and the ac hadn't been turned on yet so all was quiet. But then it sounded like a refrigerator running. I put my ear up to the wall and you can hear them buzzing in the wall. This has me totally creeped out! So we have to deal with that.
We are due to get phone upgrades so we stopped at a store last night after my haircut. We decided on phones but were going to look at finances and go back today to finalize. Well there will be no new phones because the whole Best Buy thing has really messed up our finances. So I can't even enjoy my DVDS right now because it is a constant reminder that if I just didn't get them none of this would be happening. This sucks because he was gonna give us a really good deal too! cry

I'll quit my whining now because I have a ton of work to do anyway.

Oh man Woo! Do they make bee-bombs to exterminate the bees from your house? If not, you might need some professional help for that. (And maybe a bit of insulation too.) Good luck!

we are thinking professionals. But this also means we gotta contact the landlord who still has never had us sign a new lease that was due at the end of May. *sigh* I really hate this. I am deathly afraid of bees. cry

Morning again!

Sorry about the troubles Woo- I missed the Best Buy thing. Do you really need a new cell phone though? I would like a new one, but I know mine works fine. I know you are disappointed, but feel blessed that you have one. Hopefully things will turn around soon and you'll get an even better deal a bit down the road. Praying about the bees too. Yuck- I have seen too many scary movies!

good morning! looks like a chance of t-storms in the tulsa metro this morning / afternoon, but should clear out for the football game this evening (9th grade) -- YAY!

about the bees... if they've infested between the walls of your home, you should not hesitate to get in touch with your landlord. i would do this in writing, so you have record of correspondence. i hope he acts quickly to resolve this. bees and humans do not cohabitate well

Morning all. Been up quite awhile already, but first getting a chance to say hi now. I'll start another thread soon explaining why.

For anyone who's interested, FireFly had her arm surgery yesterday and everything went great (you may recall she was losing feeling in her hand).

Today she's in a lot of pain though, hopefully that'll pass soon.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Okay I read it and I am more confused- are you mad cause you spent your money on the dvds? I would think you would rather have the dvds than a new phone- especially if your phone works ok. weirdface

no I am happy to have the DVDS but they charged us twice in the beginning and the money that was intended to pay for these was not in the checking account where we had to take the money from. It's just made everything extremely tight. If I had not got them then none of this would of happened. The DVDS are a luxury item too. So I just feel guilty. We also need to buy a tire for the truck and we have to pay for half of driver's training for the girl. Money just sucks right now. cry

Money ALWAYS sucks. But I know that you truly deserve the dvds and the money for the tires will come! I bet the people who gave you Christmas money would be happy that is how you spent the money!
