It appears that Darlene has been shafted by the IT guy. They replaced the computers in her office- all of them- and they are not currently planning on giving them internetcry

Hi guys, I'm super mad about that too. thanks for letting everyone know Ruby!! tears.gif
I went on vacation last week, they gave me a new computer on Friday while I was out. It was connected to the internet on Tuesday AM when I got there, and then on Tuesday after lunch it went down. My co-workers went down too.

I asked around to see if it was "all thru" the PD, but the Captain said that he left the internet on just a select few computers in the building. And I'm not one of them.

If I had to shoot someone an email or something I have to borrow a computer from the "roll call" room. But just to do that. Then I have to get back to my desk.

I am currently having to listen to a local radio station.....it sucks too.... 2 songs 3 commercials, 3 songs, 4 commercials.... and it's the same songs every day......

I'll check in on the forum once or twice a day to see what is going on, when I get home on my computer, but that wasn't my favorite part of FFR, listening to the songs, and having themes was, and that part of my life is now gone, and I don't know for how long, if ever I get it back. cry.gif

I'm so sorry Darlene.

I'm so tired of losing listeners to IT clampdowns. I think this is a HUGE part of why we've seen our numbers plummet over the years.

MO, TRISH, WFTR, RAY, THUMPER and on and on. Even if it wasn't an IT clampdown for all of them, it was a change of jobs where the new job didn't allow them to listen or a change in what they do at their current job.

It sucks!
