I just joined 2 weeks ago......

Anyone had any luck or know of anyone who's had luck using this site?

I went out last night to meet a guy for a beer, which turned into 4 beers, and the whole entire Red Sox Game....... I thought we hit it off nicely, but he lives an hour away. cry.gif

No, I guess it's not that bad. He lives in a condo out near Plymouth MA and I live near RI border, so we met halfway last night..... smile.gif

I considered eHarmony once, but the questionaire drove me nuts.  It was crazy long and seemed like it kept asking me the same question in different ways.

I wound up giving up on it.

been married 24 years (on the 15th) so computers weren't even invented when I got married...but some friends have been successful and some frinds not using the online stuff....

One of my female friends just found a guy on match.com, it turned out she was looking at his profile with some other friends when one said Hey! I know that guy. They have been going out for a couple of months now.

The online & computer dating thing really seems to make sense in theory. I mean, why would you want to waste your time trying to meet people you have nothing in common with?

I know some people that have used it.....some have made good match ups, others haven't....but I think that's true no matter which way you decide to meet new people. My only advice.....just be careful when meeting, make sure someone knows where you're going. Ok, "mom advice" is over now. smile.gif
