It's been a while since we tried some new songs on the station, but this week there's a slew of potential ones to add to the rotation.
Once you've heard it, use this thread to let us know what you think of it. If it's popular, get's a lot of good feedback (and/or is requested a lot) we'll keep it in the rotation.
If it's heavily criticized & never gets requested, we'll throw it in the trash heap! (Most songs wind up somewhere in the middle)
This is the second single off of Prince's MUSICOLOGY CD, which marked a return to his more mainstream pop sound from the Purple Rain days.
definitely NOT a Prince fan here...so I couldn't tell you if I liked the song or notcuz I don't like pretty much ALL Prince stuff
occasionally I'll here the chorus of Little red corvette, or 1999 & I'll sing along, but as soon as the verses kick in, I get bored & stop listening...
On that basis I cannot be a fair judge of the guy's music...
