We had our pastor and his family meet us for supper at Pizza Hut. Their oldest son and ours are buds. This was to celebrate the boy's birthday.
Anyway, after supper, we went back to our house so the kids could play.
They gave the boy a present . . . a "Gnip Gnop".
Much to my surprise, our pastor and his wife had never heard of a "Gnip Gnop" before. I couldn't believe this. I thought everyone over 30 knew what a "Gnip Gnop" was.
The thing I learned though, our pastor's wife looked at the box and said "Oh, look at that, "Gnip Gnop" is "Ping Pong" spelled backwards."
I had never noticed that before! Am I the only unobservant one in this country that didn't know or notice that?
I love Gnip Gnop! I had one when I was a kid. But yeah, I realized when I got it it was ping pong spelled backwards. Maybe it said that on it somewhere...
I was around in the 70's, but have never seen nor heard of this game before. So I learned something new by reading this thread......I now know what Gnip Gnop is!!
I recognized the game in the picture, but did not recognize the name.
