Well I have entirely too much energy today! Got up at 6, made some coffee and while it was brewing I cleaned out my kitchen junk drawer, then read the paper and did two loads of laundry, got dressed and walked for 35 minutes, now back home did another load and getting ready to clean, clean , clean. Gonna decorate for Halloween today and tonight is date night. Emily will go to the church for babysitting and Duane and I will go out to dinner with some people from church and then go for an hour and a half ghost walk. I have never been on one and Charleston has tons of old, old homes that will be sure to be on the walk. Can't wait!

Ok I took a breath- gotta go!smile

Good mornin'

We're starting to stir here in the motel. Gotta get ready, get some breakfast and then its off to the zoo.

After the zoo, we are meeting friends for lunch. He works here in the state capital's cabinet shop. He's going to give us a "back door tour" of the capital this afternoon. We'll get to see some things that most visitors don't . . . that should be fun.

After that, I'm sure there will be a little shopping then we'll point the car toward home.

Good day all! Ruby, can you lend me some of that energy?

I just got up. I need to take a shower, then head off to Farmer's Market and grocery shopping. Then take Brian shoe shopping and pick up a few other things while we're out. I wish he'd go grocery shopping with me, that would make the trip a whole lot easier.

At some point we need to clean house, but that will probably be tomorrow.

Tonight we're going to the Haunted Train with some friends. The people who run the Haunted Train are friends of those friends, so we'll probably hang out there a bit, then head back to our friends' house and sit around their fire pit.

Hey all- I went to the Preds season opener Thursday night with a date. We had a fabulous time. I am hoping there will be more dates in the future.

I thought the ex was supposed to keep the s through the weekend with this being his week of their fall break, but... he dropped my older one off at my work Friday afternoon. My little one is in DC with ex inlaws for vacation.

SO.... Older one and I did sushi Friday night, cleaned on house this morning, then did some shopping this afternoon. I grilled steaks for dinner, and now she and her boyfriend are watching GhostRider while I am relegated to the computer room.

Think I'm going to check out now. I've got some continuing ed for my life insurance renewal that needs to be done this weekend.

PS: Hey JR. I've got my Fred '08 bumper sticker proudly displayed!!
