A Bright Sunday Morning

Well, only one more day until the work week starts againcry.gif I only work 4 days this week, because I go to Emerald Isle to see my brother get married. I am really excited for him, but it will be weird watching my little brother get married.

good morning from las vegas.smile.gif

its a bit cool here- kinda shocking, but usually warms up a bit later.

So far, have come out ahead on the slots by about $30. Not bad for just dinkin around on penny and nickle machines.smile.gif

yesterday went to the south end of the vegas strip- went through/past NYNY, Ceasars Palace, saw the volcano at Bellagio, the big MGM Hotel, and a boat load of others! There's the tacky little Ellis Island Super 8 hotel down the block and I love it- such an old relic of the old vegas. went there again for the filet lunch and it was paid for by slot machine winnings.

Also saw the classic cars at Imperial Palace! took some pics that I will post when back home, but there was 1 car there for sale for $4,750,000 !!!!

nice prime rib dinner last night at Lawry's!! very good prime rib!! swam in the pool and soaked in the hotel hot tub last night, it was nice just to chill out after a long day and soak and have wine on the balcony over looking the city.

I tell ya, the planes come and go it seems like once a minute 24-7!! what a busy town.

Oh, I saw a limo yesterday that had the plates "Chapelle 2" on them- Dave Chapelle is in town and I am guessing was out for a ride somewhere.

That is all for now! gonna hit the north strip today I think, maybe head to a sports bar to watch packers! Freemont street tonight! also back to the Bellagio I think- wanna get some good close-up pics of the dancing fountains! Maybe to Treasure Island too for the Sirens show.smile.gif

Gosh hi to no one. Sounds like you are having a blast JD.

Had fun at the ghost walk last night. It was nice to hang out with our new church friends.
Anyway bought hard wood flooring today, so my house is about to become a construction zone.

Good day all. I woke up and immediately went grocery shopping. I thought I'd reward myself with a carmel latte, but when I got home, the cat tripped me and I lost it. :( But then I cleaned the house. Now I'm just waiting around for my friend's boyfriend to call because he said he'd put the brake pads on my car.

Leisurely day spent supervising everyone else building up the flat pack bookshelves and CD towers...Mark was great showing the kids how to do it....then he let them have a go themselves at a CD tower and they did it all by themselves!!! Hopefully when they're older and independent (lol)  a flat pack won't scare em to death biggrin

well my Sunday was productive...I got some house cleaning done...cooked TWO meals and went to a baby shower. I hate stuff like that, but it was ok....little A got to play with her friend Riley. They play really well together, and her mother is about as protective as I am...so she doesnt get to run wild like the rest of the neighbor kids do. Too bad we didnt have some Jazz to relax to tonight. hmm.gif
