Good morning everyone! Friday has finally arrived.....yay!! We got our first frost last night, and I'm already wishing I could head some place warm for the next six months. Took my youngest daughter out dress shopping the other day and I'm happy to report we finally found a dress and it fits her perfectly......I'm soooo glad that's over with!!
Since it's my day to go into work later, I get to hang out here for a little while this morning.
Only three weeks until my mother in law goes home! So far, it's not too bad. I need to adjust to having somebody older around. She can't hear very well. T.V. is always loud. She sat and watched "My Name Is Earl" and the start of "30 Rock" with us last night... yow, not a good couple of shows for a person from her generation to watch. A lot of sexual references, etc.
Hey, happy Friday! I don't see any grillin' in the near future. I will be heading out early Saturday (6a.m.) to go and check out some junk yards. Jack's Auto Ranch, one of the oldest in the area, was recently bought up by a younger guy. Things will be changing in the near future so, get it while you can!
Later.

Hi Sparky!! Yeah, it looks like it. I finally get to hang out for a while, and everyone decides to sleep in or something, haha. Glad to see you this morning!! Was beginning to think I was going to be the only one here.
Morning everyone......heading over to Tampa for a big football game in the morning....South Florida vs. Central Florida. Should be a crazy afternoon....65,000 people & sold out!
Typical Friday I suppose. Here in the office we have 11 employees and on Fridays we are lucky to have 6 of us here. Then usually 3 more leave towards mid afternoon.

smiles everyone! smiles!

well I have had no internet or server for that matter until now! Stupid thing! I have been filing for my supervisor until the boss came in and fixed it.
Last night was a mess. My husband planned this wonderful meal. Was supposed to be cooking all day in the slow cooker, but we came home and it was cold. When he made adjustments he must not of rehit start.
So we had to juggle around money since we are short and payroll went in late (not my part). While we were out to eat the boss called and offered us tickets to tonight's Red Wings game!
The only downfall is once again we will not be able to eat this dinner. It still needs to cook some when we have it this weekend. The carrots are not all done.
All I can say is TGIF!!

I am sooooooo glad it's Friday! What a crazy week! Yesterday the company announced a major restructure - no one's being "eliminated" but Harley decided it needed an organizational facelift. This came shortly after the resignation of our VP and my mentor, Lara. Today, we learned that one workgroup is being reshuffled into other places within the company, and that more direction on how the restructure will affect the goals and operations for the rest of us. I'm not really worried about it, but the high ambiguity makes the work environment strained. Ah well, life is change and change is good, right?

I think that either it will be a positive change for me if there's any change at all. It doesn't sound like a huge shake-up in what we do in Rider Services, just some changes in our goals and strategies down the road.

Do you watch "The Office"? They have had a couple in a row that challenge the "change is good" theory.
