There's been a lot of restructuring and change at Harley lately, and it's had a lot of people uneasy and a lot of gossip has been flying around. Our new Chief Marketing Officer held an event for those of us now reporting to him just to straighten out the rumors, bring us togther as a new team (of about 180 people) and have some fun. And we rebuilt a replica of the original shed in which Harley-Davidson was founded. Here's some pics...

Bill Davidson, the great grandson of the founder, came to join us and thanked us for rebuilding it. He said his great grandfather regretted it had ever been torn down, which happened in the 50's. Bill cried when he saw it rebuilt again.

Yep, today I love my job. It's not always fun or inspiring, but it's the best I ever had. I really like the fact they appreciate us enough to take a couple hours of our afternoon to have fun together and rebuild the spirit in our workgroup.
