Hello everyonesmile I just bounced out of bed this morning! It is a beautiful day. The sun is shining and it is about 60 degrees out right now. I hope that everyone has a great day!

What a weekend! Grillin' on Oct. 20th! Chicken, Eggplant etc. Yesterday, it was so beautiful we took the Oldsmobile out cruisin'. West Allis farmers market for some pumpkins. We were on our way to the park for a hike, the car died. Flatbed to the service station and we took a walk throught the Highlands, a rich folks neighborhood. Still awesome.
Today, waxed one of the cars, washed two. Ran 8 miles. Pancakes for lunch and pumpkin carving tonight.

I'm kinda tired today. It was about 1:30am when I got to bed. I had a hard drive fail in a server late last night. Fortunately, it was the backup drive so I didn't have to do an all nighter data restore, etc. I just had to wait while the data center techs installed a new drive.

What a difference a day makes . . . yesterday, we got up to 81 degrees. Right now, its 46.

Squonk hit it on the head, WHAT A DAY!  PERFECT!  Hard to believe it's late October!

Web, sorry to hear about your server problems, glad it wasn't the main one though!   Like I always say, a webhosts work is never done!

No Packer game today, I feel a little lost.  Then again, with the weather like it is it doesn't feel like football season anyway smile.gif

Good day all! I just got home.

I think that was probably the best wedding ever. The ceremony was basic and short, the bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were wonderful, the flower girls and ring bearers were cute, the weather was perfect...

And man, can my in-laws throw a party! That was the best reception I've ever been to, and that doesn't even include the open bar! My nieces are pretty shy, but I got them dancing with me the whole night. I think I'm now the cool aunt. The music was great, a mix of the typical dance tunes, a little bit of new music, and some 80's rock.

But I danced all night in heels, so my legs are so sore today. (I'm sure the glasses of wine I had didn't help prevent any soreness either.) I thought I was getting pretty fit, but I don't wear heels often, or get to go dancing often, so I think I used muscles I'm not used to using. It's mostly in the front part of my upper legs.

I think I'm going to load the pictures into the computer (I filled the memory card), and then soak in a bath. If any of the pictures look good, I might post a couple.

Well, due to the lighting (I think), most of the pictures didn't come out very well. (And now that I think of it, I think I have a night setting on my camera I could've used. Darnit.) But here's a couple:

The bride and groom cutting the cake. (The lights were dimmed and every other light was red, since red, black, and white were their colors. There was a red light over the cake, and somehow the lighting on this shot came out perfect.)

Glad you have a good time Mz!!  I like the cake cutting picture....the lighting adds a uniqueness to it.  smile

I washed and waxed my car today since it was so warm out.....82 degrees on the 21st of October.  My kind of weather!!  aww
