It actually is an issue of time. With the Buddhist Learning Review, celebrating my sisters b-day, keeping up with my bf and work, I don't seem to have to much time to spare. I usually get together with friends, drink wiine, and carve up 3 or 4. They all look fabulous after we polish off the first bottle. {{lol}}

Did you ever try spicing them up? I butter them up and put a bunch of cajun seasoning on them before I roast them...they are delish! hungry.gif

Yep, and it tastes way different than if you roast them plain. Dry out the rinsed seeds for a couple days on wax paper. When they are pretty dried out, put them in a big bowl and dump melted butter on them. Mix it up to coat them, spread them on a bakiing sheet and shake cajun seasoning (and salt if the seasoning doesn't have any) over them and bake. When they start to brown you've got a good batch of roasted seeds. hungry.gif You can try other seasonings too...I like garlic and lime salt sometimes, or Penzey's Northwoods seasoning.

oh I bet you can find some time for wine and carving pumpkins! you live pretty close to the west allis farmers market??- they'll be open saturday. I don't think them tricker treaters come out until sunday...smile
come to think of it, I have not seen ONE carved and lit pumpkin at all thus far this year!hmm

people need more wine and pumpkin carving time!cry
