Here's the Sunday thread

Its Sunday.

This is the first thread of the day.

So, we'll make this the Sunday thread.

Ok?

Its going to be a fun "celebration day" at church today. Our church has been going through a campaign called "40 Days of Community" which ended this week. Everything for the last 40 days has been focused around building stronger unity as a church. Its been a good thing.

If you want to listen in this morning, it begins at 10:45am central and you can log in from here.

Its ok, they are a descent bunch of folks. I personally know the bass player there. If nothing else, come for the music and stay for the sermon! biggrin.gif

Good morning everyone. I am about to leave to go to church. It has been a while since I have gone to church, so I am really excited about starting back. I am going with one of my best girl friends. We are motivating each other to live a better life.

I hope that everyone has a great day!smile

Congrats on the return to church Fire! I've been trying to get back more often myself!

It's a beautiful Sunday here. Sun shinin', temps in the 60's. It's almost as if Summer just don't wanna let go!

YAY! clap.gif

Everyone have a great day!

Good day all! I had to drag myself out of bed this morning. My allergies are kicking my butt today. I'm resisting taking a nap, and I'll just go to bed early tonight.

The party last night was fun. I think my costume turned out great. But I didn't get any pictures. I'll dress up again and get pictures. (I was a sorceress, btw.) I also picked up some temporary blue hair dye for my costume, so today my hair is still blue (not all of it, just the front, kind of streaky). Brian doesn't like it, but I love it. I want funky blue hair more often!

This hair dye was so easy to use and worked so well, that I think it helped me decide what I'm going to be next year... Jem!

Well, Saturday was fun. Went to FLW's home and studio in Oak Park IL. Toured the neighborhood and looked at some of his designs. Did lunch at a rib joint called Russell's. From the outside, I thought I'd get one of the best rib sandwiches ever. Not true. Mediocre at best. Cool outside. We tried to find the place where our car will go for body work during the winter months. Could not locate it. Should be fun on Friday when we drive it down!
Sunday, full breakfast. I made us both a latte'. (home brew system by starbuck's) Went to the apple orchard with the kid in the afternoon. Did an eight mile run on the parkway, some gardening and tonight, my first ever concert at Turner Hall! We are going to see a band called the Octopus Project. A band called Brief Candles is opening. JD and I worked with the bassist. Actually, I think he worked with us.
Go on YouTube. Both bands have videos. The Project thing is wierd.
Miss my Doctor.

Take it easy.

The day went well over all.

My wife and I have spent a lot of time talking to day. I'm going to try to get about a 1/2 hour with a new lawyer to make sure we have all our ducks in a row with what we can do. Then, we are going to go meet with the lawyer handing her mom's estate and we are going to offer her to continue with it at their standard hourly rate, or we are going to fire her and move everything to the new lawyer. That move should save the estate about $6,000 if she forces it.
