Good morning! I am two minutes away from walking out the door to go to work, but I thought that I would drop in first. Tuesdays are pretty good days for me. They aren't too busy.

Here, but I think I should be home. We think we ate something bad because we both are sick with the same symptoms. I feel like I am falling apart! My back still hurts, my left eye is causing me pain but I can't see anything wrong with it and now the sickness. My husband says that we need to go pick me up new parts because I am falling apart- lol

Last night we watched How I met your mother, The Big Bang Theory, Two & a half men and Heroes. I tell you i had my doubts about The Big Bang Theory but I am laughing harder at that than anything else!

Oh and I think I saw some sleet or snow starting. hmm


I forgot to say that the internet here is all wonky again too. cryfurious

Man, I think I left my head at home. I had to go back upstairs before we left because I forgot something, got out to the car and thought of something else I forgot, dropped Brian off at work and stopped back by home before I voted to pick up something else I forgot, got to work and remembered something else I forgot to bring. I didn't know I had so much stuff!

not sure what's up with me, I've been having these mild anxiety attacks since yesterday. Nothing is wrong tho. Its just weird and I want to snap out of it. Its just the mind going "what if....what if" and thats not like me.cry.gif

That is weird, JD . . . I've been feeling the same way the last couple days . . . just restless and a little anxious over what, I'm not even sure.

I'm sorry you are not feeling good, Woo. I wonder if all the stress you've been under lately is showing up as physical things now.

Just another day riding this big rock in its journey around the sun. Better hang on . . . I hear there's some turbulence near Uranus.

I'll bet it's the changing of the seasons and the time and all the stuff that comes with it. We didn't have a gradual change into fall, we just kinda, well, fell into it. I'm sure that'll mess with people's heads.

Morning everyone.  I have another day off work today, and I didn't know it about it until yesterday.  Seems there was something negotiated into the teachers contracts that schools here are closed on election day.  I'm glad someone mentioned it to me; otherwise I'd have went to work this morning and wondered why I was the only one there. 

It is cold and windy here today, and Woo is right, every so often there's little flakes of that white stuff coming down.  hmm

Woo, I think Web is on to something with stress causing you physical problems.  I hope things that are bothering you resolve themselves soon so you'll feel better!! 

JD, try a little meditation when you get home today....just a few minutes may help with the anxiety. 

Mz, I think you need to go home and be with your head!!  wink

Darn it. I gave up on the BIG BANG THEORY after two episodes, I just thought it was annoying as hell. Now I'm wondering if I shoulda given it a better chance. You always seem to like the same shows I do.

I taped HOMYM, but did watch CHUCK (excellent as always), TWO & A HALF MEN (getting stale unfortunately) and RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (which focused on David Spade instead of Patrick Warburton like it usually does so it wasn't very good either).

Monday night has turned into TV night for me. Any other night of the week there's only one show at most that I watch, but Monday's is a good, solid two hour block.

BTW, hope you start feelin' better Woo!

just checking in. we have some issues surfacing here at work. one is that i may really be banned from listening to on-line music in the very near future. in the past it's been mentioned that i shouldn't, but i've never been told i couldn't. i think that's because it's doesn't interfere with me getting my work done. but now, we have one guy in sales, who hasn't really done anything for a couple years (seriously), cranking up his on-line music. hmm.gif

smiles, and all that which gets us through the day without snapping heads off!

that sucks when one person's inability to get things done affects the masses..instead of THE MAN talking to the culprit and taking action only against them...that happens all the time here, with new requirements that one person "helped" institute....

JR- we were laughing at Big Bang Theory from the start so not sure if your opinion would change. But last night we both were laughing so hard we were on the verge of crying.

i may be anticipating something that won't happen, but that tends to be the way things go around here. i think i will have to say something if it comes down to that... for now, i will just have to think of something tactful and diplomatic to say without sounding like a crybaby...

I'm not allowed to listen to music at work.  They say it cuts into productivity and somehow affects multi-tasking.  They also frown on accessing web sites, but so far they haven't blocked our computers.  We all know not to go overboard, but I'm sure the first time someone does, they'll be calling in the IT police.

Most internet radio is blocked at my work...I can't even get to freezeframeradio.com so i use LoudCity and Activeboard access. It's annoying. hmm

I've had some anxiety lately also. I parked my '97 Toyota convertible over the weekend. It won't be back out until mid-April 2008.
The patio furniture went into the garage.
Temps are dropping.
The drag strip is shut down for the season.
I have to get my 1960 Olds to IL before the snow flies.
Winter is here. I don't mind winter. I do mind what we call Spring. Three months of the worst weather. Dreary, grayish, wet. yuk.
I like my nights on the patio, grillin', music.... booze. Meeting the "guys" on Wednesday eve. for car night etc.
