I remember talking on this forum once about how Circuit City was closing nearly 100 stores.

They were thinking about closing the one closest to me, but it was spared. One a little further away did get shut down.

Now suddenly I see they're advertising that next week is the grand opening of 65 new Circuit City stores!

I searched for the threads here, but wasn't sure where we talked about the closings. I did find the thread that talks about how they fired a bunch of highly paid employees just to replace them with low cost ones.

I'm kind of glad I found that thread again. I forgot all about it. Now my desire to keep my Circuit City protest in place has been renewed.
