Hi Sandy! I've been pretty good. Honestly, I wasn't around much this week because it was so busy. I had a 2-day diversity council summit, then a meeting with a rep from the Memphis CVB, then some stuff I worked on for my temple so I could do a presentation and run an activity on Saturday. It's been go-time all week! I'm not digging the job much lately - our department has been so chaotic with all the change and trying to meet our year-end goals. However, I try to focus on the things in life that make me happy, all the blessings I possess. smile.gif I'm a pretty lucky gal overall, and I don't liek to let the crap get in the way of that. How about you? How've you been? Did you get a chance to listen to the CD?

I'm doing ok, thinking the same as you about my job.  Frankly, I'm getting kind of bored with it and am thinking of looking for something different.  Lately I've been feeling a strong need for change.....I'm not sure in which area of my life this is coming from, but the feeling is there constantly.  So I'm asking my spirit guides to help me out with it, or at least give me a little direction.  smile

I hope this coming week will be a much better week for you work-wise!!  Do you have to work the Friday after Thanksgiving or over the weekend?

Sorry to say, I haven't yet had a chance to listen to the disc.  Like you, this past week was very busy for me.  Since I only work 3 days this week, I'm hoping to pop it in and listen over the holiday break.  I'm really looking forward to hearing your grandmother's stories!!  Thank you again for sending it to me! smile

Sorry to hear about the job, Sandy. I completely empathize, though. Sometimes it just hits you - needing something else to bring you new challenge and satisfaction. When the passion dwindles, the garbage that comes with the job seems affect me more, personally. I will chant for us both to find the answer to our career unrest! smile.gif

I do have Friday off...yay! I really need it. The burnout is getting me faster these days, and I am looking forward to my plans. Sounds like you have a nice extended weekend planned for yourself. clap.gif

Well, I'm hoping for a great weekend.  I've already decided that on Friday I'm taking the disc you sent me and heading downstairs where I won't be interrupted by anyone or anything.  We have a "finished" basement, and everyone knows when I head down there, they'd do well to leave me alone.  That's where the stereo is set up and I call it "Mom's private listening room".  biggrin

Glad you have Friday off!!  clap.gif  Those four day weekends are great, aren't they?? smile

They sure are...and I am determined that they won't be a working weekend!
