2-3 inches of snow Wednesday afternoon
Traveling for Thanksgiving? Pack a snow shovel. The National Weather Service has issued a snow advisory for Wednesday afternoon that calls for southern and southeastern Wisconsin getting 2 to 3 inches of snow.

Warmer air off Lake Michigan may result in a mix of rain and snow in far southeastern Wisconsin. The snow is forecast to begin falling Wednesday afternoon and finish up shortly after midnight.

Winds out of the north are expected to funnel colder air into the southern portion of the state. The snow advisory is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday to 3 a.m. Thursday.

If it comes, it will be the first accumulation of snow of the season in southern Wisconsin.

Yes, I think it was supposed to be about 11:10 Central time, but JR said her flight has been delayed about 30 minutes at this point.

No more delays gets here in about 11:40.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

You're right JD, I'm glad it's tonight and not tomorrow.

So far the delay is still only 30 minutes, but the website still doesn't show the plane has left the ground yet, so there might be another delay.

We'll leave a message that she arrived safely when we get back!

Well, after a THIRD delay I'm heading out now to pick up FF! Her plane is FINALLY scheduled to arrive at 11:58. Yeesh!

I saw on a flight tracking website that US Airways is one of the worst as far as "on time" records. Rating only one and a half stars out of five. I can see why!
