Indeed it is saturday.
got a lot of "busy" stuff to do, but the time to do it as well. So that's nice.
I can seriously get into these extended weekends.smile.gif

FireFly JUST landed back in Charlotte and is driving home right now. I'm happy she's safely on the ground. I'm sad she's on the ground in Charlotte, NC and not in Milwaukee tears.gif

Last game is over, all coaching staff are out.

Huskers head coach and nine assistant coaches were given their pink slips today. The assistant coaches were told that if they stay to help recruit, they will be eligible to apply to keep their jobs for next season. If they don't want to help with the recruiting season, they will not be able to stay on staff.

Time for the Husker's to start over . . . again.

As per usual here I am for a late posting for Saturday! Just wanted to say hi from work at 6am Sunday morning! Got a big pre-Christmas function on today so been designing some menus and table settings for today. I would much prefer to be back in my bed though...me and 6am just do not agree! bleh.gif

I do see a nice big cup of coffee heading my way by a thoughtful staff member though...smile.gif His blood is worth bottling this morning!

Anyway take care and will hopefully catch up with one of you one of these days soon!

Afternoon all! Still alive and having a nice break too. Glad FF made it home safely, but I definitely feel your pain guys- long distance relationships are hard on the heart. Got a bit of shopping done yesterday- an X box 360 for the boy and some more junk for E to try to fit in her room. I was NOT out and about too early though. I also got two of those new digital photo frames- perfect grand parent gift! Well the floor in the bathroom is about 95% done, just a couple of the baseboard tiles need to be cut and installed. The fan in the bathroom is working again and we now have crown molding in the bathroom, hall and living room. He is working on that now and I do believe that the hard wood floors will get started tomorrow! I had to empty my two curios full of Oz stuff- hated to do it, but at least nothing broke~

Anyway just checking my emails and the news- hope everyone is having a great!
