Motorists injured after hitting dead mule

A husband and wife suffered minor injuries early this morning when their car hit a mule that had been struck and killed by another driver on Highway 106 in Jefferson County.

Sheriff's Sgt. Michael Weber said a couple of mules had wandered into the road east of County Highway D just before midnight, and one was hit by a driver who fled the scene. One car pulled over to avoid hitting the dead mule, the couple involved in the second crash apparently did not see it, Weber said.

It was unclear how the mules had wandered into the road.

I'm still very tired, and waiting for the big snow storm we're supposed to get. Last year our biggest storm in ten years hit on this very same date. Hopefully it won't be THAT bad this time around

I think most bands sort of "follow the sun". THe cult was smart in the sence that they know they'd most likely pack us in up north here because we are SOOO show starved this time of year!!!

Last minute hello for Saturday!

Slept in this morning...lol my boss banging on my window is not the way I want to be woken up first thing on Sunday morning at 5.30am!

Pre-Christmas functions on at work so been working really late and I ran the usual horse/greyhound racing TAB system yesterday as well.

Been playing up a bit this week though..hehe!

Hey, I can post. I haven't been able post until now. I tried different browsers, clearing cache and cookies, etc. Nothing worked.

We're under a layer of ice today. It is very slick outside. Its too icy to take the boy out to his grandpa's so if Mrs Web's work is still having their Christmas party, I won't be going. I'll stay home with the boy. I'm 50/50 about going anway. The two most fun people are not going to be there so I don't think I'll miss much other than a decent meal.

To get to the other side. Duh!

We slept in until 11:30 this morning. And when I did wake up, my husband had wrapped his leg around me (which is fine), and then the cat made himself comfortable and went to sleep on top of me and my husband's leg. I was totally trapped.
