Sorry it's so cold for you! LOL I am back living in nothing but a bikini and sarong these days due to the heat! Ahhh...long hot summer days and wet season has started...and the mosquitos...and crocs shall be floating around town soon!
I'm still working at the Albatross Bay Resort! I've been having a ball here! The staff are fantastic and we hang out together most of the time! I'm still playing gigs down the back of the pub here overlooking the sea most Sunday afternoons! I'm going out this arvo for a boat ride and will probably make it back in time for a late afternoon/evening jam session and watch the sunset at the same time! Such a beautiful backdrop!

I'm doing ok; keeping busy at work, though I'm getting tired of working in a school setting. I've been thinking of changing jobs, but it's pretty hard to walk away from one that gives me the summers off.
My girls have been trying to convince me to enter some Guitar Hero tournaments that the local bars/clubs have been putting on. I'm really thinking about doing it....heck, I could probably beat some of the competition.

And I know what you mean about changing jobs! I gave mine up where I got Summers off as well...that was hard but I will never regret giving it up and coming here to Weipa! I've come to love this place very much. I'm rather attached to the town these days!
LOL I have been lucky haven't I! That's not the best thing I've won since being here! I won on Keno...a 5 figure sum at that! Keno is a form of lottery here. Best $3.00 investment I ever spent!
Heck yeah, if I enter one, I'll make sure you get some pics! The tourneys sound like they'd be a blast. My oldest girl wants to enter, but ya have to be 21 to do so in the bars.....she's trying to find one where the minimum age is 18, haha.
