Yup, it's Monday. This week is either going to drag because Christmas is next weekend, or it's going to go really fast because I don't have everything ready for Christmas.

Morning all! It's Monday again, but for me it's like Sunday since all the schools around here are closed. I need to go out to the grocery store and get some things to bake Christmas cookies since I'm home today.

Funny......I had a dream last night about baking cookies......in the dream, I didn't have any flour so I sent my husband out to get some for me, but he kept bringing back bags of sugar. After a few times of getting sugar, I decided to go to the store myself. I got the flour, but on my way back home, I got lost and couldn't find my house. I ended up in some other city. I stopped to ask people for directions on how to get back to Saginaw, but I had to trade my flour for them to tell me. I finally made it back home, but I didn't have any flour left for the cookies.

Maybe the dream was trying to tell me not to bake this year. hmm

Yeah, I'd take 39 . . . its 11 right now. Expected high says 45 so that will be great if it actually gets that high.

I'm trying to get a table refinished by the 29th. I was waiting on the new veneer for the top. It was sitting by the door this morning. UPS must have delivered it late Friday afternoon after I left. I would like to have it done by the 26th so I can take a few days off and stay home with the boy during his Christmas break. Then he won't have to go to a sitter next week.

My wife is off work today & tomorrow. We debated about going out of town to finish up Christmas shopping today. She decided we can probably get everything we need here in town so we decided to stay home. I'm glad we stayed home now that I see my veneer is here.

Well, my work decided to close late today. They are suposed to decide by 6:30 am so that they can notify the drivers not to get on the road but there was a mixup and it was not until an hour later that they closed us. I was all ready by then. hmm

Oh well I won't be around though because my husband who went to a meeting decided that we are gonna clean the house when he gets back. We had a work Christmas party Sat where we stay at a hotel so not much got done around the house.

Hm, which is better, staying at home and cleaning or going to work and working? I think there's some days I'd rather go to work, especially if I didn't get to sleep in either way!

Well, my day started off average enough, but then my daughter got sick at school. hmm

I have had a tough time keeping her healthy this year. We have had unusually warm weather all year and there are people everywhere that are sick.

I am finally done with all of my Christmas shopping and I am ready for it to hurry up and get here! I think I have watched every Christmas movie and cartoon about 3 times. blankstare

I love watching Christmas movies, but I think that they start them waaaaaaay too soon! "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" was on two days after Thanksgiving. I just wasn't in the Christmas mood yet. hmm

Monday here was dry, calm and cool...the high was about lunch time when we managed to hit 40 then it dropped again ...but then we have warmed up and got to 42.3 by midnight. justs starting to drop again now at 41.6 at 0200

You'd hate hanging out with me this time of year then...I watch a lot of chirstmas movies starting right around Thanksgiving. I love them!

As a matter of fact, I have the week off and plan to watch all my movies before the week is through. What a great way to spend some vacation time!
