Ooooo, an APB for me???? biggrin  I've been around off and on JD.....checked in late yesterday and am back now.

Yesterday my girls and I spent the day playing our new Guitar Hero games......I beat Rock the 80s on Hard mode already and am currently trying to beat Rock Legends, but am having trouble with a song by Slayer and one by Metallica, haha.  Anyway, I'm frustrated with the game tonight, so I thought I'd come see what everyone else has been up to.  smile

Oh man my sister-in-law is mad. On the third day after getting Guitar Hero 2 for Christmas, my nephew scratched the disc and now it won't work. She said she is not buying another one and if they want it again, he'll have to use his own money to get it.

Oh man Web, I'd be mad too if the disc got scratched right away!  Those dang games cost a pretty little penny.  I bet the kids are upset too because they can't play now.  If there's a Game Stop near them (or a similar type store) maybe they'll know of some kind of scratch filler that can fix the disc.

I agree, it's cheaper than buying a new disc.

Well, his attitude about it is actually part of the problem. My nephew is almost 13 and he's in that stage where he knows more than everyone else and is tougher than steel. He just tried to brush it off as no big deal and made some comment about finding a used copy for three bucks.

A CD repair kit would be a good try . . . I'm not sure if I want to get in the middle of that mess or not.
