I've got a full day ahead of me today. We need to take in recycling, do laundry (I ended up going grocery shopping last night instead of doing laundry), have Christmas with a couple friends, and go to a birthday party. But, none of that starts until Brian wakes up. I also need to clean house and do homework. At some point I need to do a bit of maintenence on my computer too.
I'm waiting around for a customer to call to meet them at the shop to pick up the table I just got finished.
It looks like we are going to take all the Christmas stuff down today. Its cold outside, but It should only take me 30 minutes or so to get the outside stuff done.
I have to work today, some couple is getting married today... can you imagine?? I would not pick this day for a wedding, however, it's work, right?
Ed is here, arrived on time yesterday. Kaisha is smiling ear to ear. It's nice to have him home, his family had a get together for him last night. He really misses Massachusetts. He doesn't like San Diego much, he says the only thing it has going for it is their weather.
There's snow on the ground here, so he got to see that, and a storm on the way too. Maybe he can come over and shovel my driveway, since he's here....lol

Hello all. Well I called my mom and told her that we were planning on going to Outback tonight around 4-4:30. There is a Red Wings game on tonight that I want to be home to see. She managed to turn the whole thing around. She now has us going to her Outback and not ours, going later so my step-dad can go and I believe she is trying to get us to come over later! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! I instructed my husband to play up his sickness so we don't have to go back to their house. It's not much of a stretch. He feels the worst today of all days. I also woke up early a bit sick. She is so friggin' manipulative! So because she got me irriated I started cleaning the house (on my birthday)
We just had breakfast and now we are gonna get cleaned up and go to the fish store to pick up some more supplies so we can get the new aquarium going.

We narrowly escaped a disaster here. I was outside taking lights down and could hear a commotion going on in the house.
The boy's story is that he was picking up toys next to the Christmas tree and the dog was between him and the tree looking out the window. Something got the dog all excited and she whipped around to get out of there and hit the tree hard enough to knock it over.
It looks like only one glass ball got shattered and a little part on one other ornament that can be glued. That could have been MUCH worse but momma is still not happy.
