No party here! We have informed the town that we are not holding anything! There are far too many indigenous people that will cause far too much trouble and we only got 2 policemen in town!

Nahhh...I shall probably be sitting there on my own with a sparkler and a beer at midnight!

We have awesome displays and are usually broadcast world wide! smile.gif I'll toast you all at midnight though!

LOL...I'm still a bit uncomfortable with my broken collarbone which seems to be healing nicely! Looks like I only got about another 3 weeks in this cast! clap.gif

I remember when 2000 came in.  I watched the celebrations around the world on tv and Sydney had some fantastic fireworks they set off. 

Glad you're healing up Jules!!  Bet you'll be so glad to get that cast off too.

LOL...I'm just about ready to saw my arm off right now! It's so darn itchy under the cast! But hey...I've surprised myself how fast I can type with one hand! LOL I can't believe I am typing a blog one-handed right this minute!

blehbleh  That stuff is just plain nasty!! 

I know you didn't give the cognac away though.  I got totally blasted on that stuff once, and the next day whatever I drank, I got drunk all over again.  That's some mighty powerful alcohol.
