Morning, we got our first snow here today, took me an hour to do a 20min journey to work, but hey I do still like snow!

Sorry Woo - hope your day gets better!

It sounds like many of us need to defrost this morning...it's bitterly cold here, too. Right now it is a whole 4 degrees and it was miserable commuting to work this morning in the cold. The weatherman says it will warm up over the next couple days - I hope he's right. hmm

Do you ever feel a bit lost after you've been off work a week or more, like you don't know where to begin? I went through that yesterday and still feel that way today. Not that I'm not busy, but I think my head is still in vacation mode. laughing.gif

Wow G-Gal, you're 4 times warmer than we are. Right now, we're at 1. We're supposed to get up to 32. I'll be excited to make it up to freezing, that's pitiful.

why hello.smile.gif

it seems that my radiators in the dining room and kitchen are not working. I don't mind a cool kitchen, but the dining room is way cold. I could unscrew the bleeder valve and get it to work, but then the carpet around the thing gets wet with steam. I could call the landlord, but he's so old. Plus I just know he wouldn't take off his snowboots when he got here and would track slush onto my floors and carpet.

I'm going to hold out hope that others are having a similar problem and call him instead. its only really rough in the dining room because I leave my air-conditioner in the window, and didn't wrap it up this year before the first snow and ice came.

I need to go shave now. I've got a beard going that puts letterman's to shame. Starting to look like Jim Morrison, the dying year. the bathroom radiator works.smile.gif

Wow, we are actually warmer than many of you. We're at 14. Since I wasn't here for a week, I had the heat shut down to 50. It's currently trying to warm back up to 62. I've got the space heater under my desk on high.

I'm back at the shop & office today. The boy had to go back to school, but he was ready. After spending a week with dad, he was excited to go see his friends again.

Morning all! Took me a bit to get here- had to take the boy and the girl to school and it was only 16! It was only 30 yesterday, 40 today, 50 Friday and 60 on Saturday then next week all 70s! Can't move quick enough! E has been with me for two weeks, hopefully she will behave. I had a BLAST with her though and felt blessed to be home with hersmile

I wonder if Ultimo's snow is the remnants of the big storm that hit us and headed North! strong enough to maintain itself across the Atlantic....?hmm.gif

Could be JD, it wasn't much, but enough to mess up our roads for a few hours, it has all but melted now, still trying to snow a little but the temp is up so it's melting.
