Morning sir! Checking in before we head to the dentist. A prayer everyone that they will take E. She has close to $3000 worth of dental work- 1200 just to put her to sleep twice that my insurance will not cover. Our medical university has a clinic that is hard to get into and it is not guaranteed once you get in that they will take your case. I waited three months for the appointment and only got it cause I called back after two months in tears cause her mouth was hurting. So today is the day. I'll be back later. I have been told expect to be there til at least lunch! Anyway I do not have the money and I am hoping that this will go as I pray.

Good Morning everyone, I wish you guys luck Ruby!
I have to leave in a few minutes, it's garbage day and we all know what kind of trouble that would be if I don't take it out. One time I came home and she had put a dead chicken under my pillow with a note on it. no.gif

Good day all!

Good luck Ruby and little E!

I got very little sleep last night. My husband was coughing throughout the night. Then the first thing he does after getting dressed in the morning? Goes out and smokes a cigarette. I've tried really hard not to interfere with him stopping smoking. He knows I want him to stop, so I figure I just have to let him figure out when the best time for him to quit is. If I push him to do it, he probably won't. But with this whole coughing thing, I'm really tempted to push.

Wow, the GodMotha. Garbage day by us too!
At work, every day is garbage day. :(
Hung out with the Wednesday Nite Cruise bunch last night. Car show on Saturday. (during Packers)

Morning all!  I'm sneaking some forum time in while I'm at work so I can't stay around too long.  We may get some snow tonight.  I'm hoping for a snow day from school tomorrow.  I think it's getting close to the time that I look for a different job because I'm sure don't enjoy my work anymore.  cry

Eh, kinda.  He stopped for a little while when a bunch of our friends decided to quit.  But then one friend didn't quit, and everyone started smoking again.  Recently he told his VA doctor that if they sent him patches, he'd quit.  They said they would, but they haven't sent the patches, and he hasn't called to follow up.

Before we moved in together, I made the stipulation that there was no smoking in the car or the house.  He hates the cold, so I figured he'd stop the first winter.  Well, there were neighbors that smoked, so he could go over there.  Then I thought when we moved, that would do it, but no, he still goes outside.  He doesn't smoke as much as some people, a pack can last him a couple days.  I know it's hard to quit, which is why I've tried not to pressure him too much.  But I'm worried about him, especially now that he has this cough.

I understand Mz. I am an ex-smoker but when I quit for some reason it just wasn't that hard. But the craving is still there from time to time. Both my in-laws smoke and have poor health. My mother-in-law keeps getting Bronchitis but keeps smoking. A phone call from her is almost agony with her coughing into the phone. She has tried to quit a few times but he refuses to try to quit and I am sure that makes it difficult to be around. She easily comes up with excuses too. She can't quit because she is stressed out about the situation with her other son, etc

My Mom quit when Little A was born 3 years ago. She used to hack bad but doesn't any more. She has taken up chewing alot of gum.
