Weew. I'm tired. Too much consumed on Friday eve. Drove to Chicago Sat. a.m. Car Show today then, run 7 miles. Time to chill out. I have to try to get the feed on my mac again.
JD, are you on tonight?smile.gif

7 miles! That is great. How many days a week do you exercise Squonk?

Back home. Squonk, if I would've known you were in Chicago, I would've tried to stop by that car show. Or is that why you didn't mention it was in Chicago? ;)

I was a little disappointed we didn't do more, but it was still a fun weekend. I thought we were going to go out Friday night, but we ended up staying in and just hanging out, which is fine.

Saturday we got up a bit early, being we're used to it being an hour later than it was, sleeping on an air mattress, away from home, etc. Our friends ended up getting up at about 12:30. Then we went out to this restaurant called Earwax, where I had the best baked granola. Then we had to go back to their apartment, since Marc had to get ready before practice at 3. Later, we went shopping at boutique and vintage stores, where I didn't end up buying anything. There was one shirt I really wanted, but it was too small. Then we got ready and went to the Beat Kitchen. We got there early and had dinner (I had an awesome turkey salad and some grilled potatoes), and hung out with friends. Then Michelle's (Marc's girlfriend) mom got lost on her way in and Michelle's phone wasn't working, but she borrowed my phone and got her mom there (from a rather shady part of town, too). The show was awesome, they sold out and it was standing room only. Unfortunately, I'm claustrophobic, so I don't do well with standing room only. I lasted a long time, but eventually had to step outside when I felt like I was going to pass out (and I wasn't drinking), and I missed the last song and encore. But it was still a rockin show, and I'm currently working on emailing the songs over.

We ended up staying up until 5am central (and we're normally on eastern) hanging out after the show with Marc & Michelle and Angie (Michelle's mom). Then, someone called Angie's cell at 8:30, so her and Michelle went out to breakfast, but the rest of us slept until noon, when Angie locked herself out of her running car and the house. We let her back in the house, and the locksmith didn't take long to get there, and only took a couple seconds to unlock her car. Once everyone was up and around, we got ready, drove back, and here we are.

Sounds like you had a good time Mz, even if you didn't do more.  Bailiff contacted me on Myspace for a friend request and I really like the song they have playing on their page.  Wish I could hear more of their music!!  smile

Wow, you type fast. Well, being honest, I was in Barrington/Wheeling. Checking out our car, it's at the body shop down there. By the way, I checked out the site for the club you went to... there's a band called "tub ring" coming in February. (Yuk)

I run 30-35 miles per week. Some is at race/lift pace. Weights 2X per week. Vodka 2X and coffee 7X.weirdface.gif

 Cool JD Thanks!

Hey Squonk- very commendable! I have started running but 3 miles has been my limit. I try to exercise 30 -45 minutes everyday somehow. Weights and toning too, but nothing too obsessive, but enough to keep me thinner. I drink wine 4-7 nights!

I actually compete in runs. Most for fun. I ran a half marathon last spring and finished at 7 Min 28 sec per mile! Then in fall, I ran my fastest adult time, 6:04 Mile.smile.gif

I might look into a short run- just for myself and just to keep me motivated. If I exercise 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes though I can keep pretty fit.

That's for sure. If I didn't have the competitive gene, I would probably run four times a week. Maybe 3-4 mile each time.
Excersise is so good for the brain. I usually figure out my problems while running.

Right now I am so focused on trying to breathe steady and not cramp that I can think of nothing. BUT that has been a real plus here lately!biggrin
