Have a good time! Both me & ny husband think it should be Friday! What a long week! Oh and the weather people are full of you know what!!! We were supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow and it wasn't supposed to stop until 4 am. The alert was called off before we even went to bed! I soooooo have the wrong job.

Hi all! It is -3 degrees and sunny here. I really hate winter! Anyway, I'm going to have some warm banana-chocolate chip bread and coffee in a bit to start my day. Have a great one everybody!

Well, we have decided to buy a new car. Now we just have to go find one we like. There's a dealership down the street that I'd like to walk to tonight, but Brian said, "We'll see." (And the new car thing was his idea!) I'd rather go tonight, because I work at the tax office tomorrow night and Saturday. And I've decided to get a rental tomorrow morning, since they currently have a deal where I can rent the car for the whole weekend for less than $50. That way I can get back and forth to work, do laundry, get groceries, and it'll help us get around to shop for our new car. We also got approved for a car loan, but I'm not sure if we'll accept it yet. We see the terms and the paperwork today.
Good luck on the new car, Mz! It's probably a wise choice - sometimes it ends up being more expensive in the long run to keep fixing what you've got. I always loved getting a "new" car (whether new or used) but was usually disappointed at having to make payments again. It was always such a liberating feeling to be without payments! Anyway, I hope you find something you like very soon!

-7 degrees right now. Its cold but at least the wind isn't blowing like it has been the last few days which made it feel even worse.
At 11:00 I will go help unload chairs at the church. We are replacing the pews with nice chairs. The truck with 200 chairs is supposed to be here at 11:00. We are going to see how these fit in the space we have and then decide how many more to order. We're planning on 300 total, but want to see what we have for space before buying the rest.
Yeah, what it would cost to fix the car is halfway to what the car will be worth after it's fixed. And then we don't know if we could fully trust it. The whole reason we bought our last car was because we wanted something reliable. I resisted for the past week, because I didn't want the car payments, but I finally gave in. The payments are worth the peace of mind.
Good luck Mz. I've always hated the fact that that money is never ones to keep for very long. Its either a car payment, or maintenance, upkeep & repair.
You are right, the peace of mind is worth it. I am hoping once my car is payed off (3 more years), that I have at least 5 yrs of no payment while I run the thing into the ground...

Good morning folks. Trying to be around to play today. Didn't feel much like it yesterday after I talked to Maranda. I was having an emotinal meltdown. I mentioned earlier this week that she is having trouble coping these days because of depression (which I think is Seasonal Affective Disorder), and she informed me that she wants to withdraw from school (she only has a couple tri's left to graduate). I talked her into staying last year when she was having these problems, but I decided not to push her this time. I feel like her mental and emotional health should be first as she can go back and finish later. I hope she does... so close. She has an appointment with our family doctor on Monday...
So anyway, I'm feeling better today. I've accepted that this is how things are right now; and I know that obsessing about how it's not the way I want it to be, will not change it. Everything happens for a reason (right?).
Smiles everyone... Smiles...

good luck DS. No worries, the school and her credits will still be there if and when she's ready to go back! take it from a boy who took a decade to finish!

Morning all! Been here for a bit but not at my desk. My first three appointments have been no shows! I think we found a nice older lady to take the front desk position, I am praying about it.
Prayers for MZ and her new car, SG and his trip and DS and her issues and you all just cause you can never have enough people praying for you!
Well, I am at home sick with a migraine. It is FIANLLY starting to ease off, but it was horrible last night. I think I slept a total of an hour. It hurt so bad, it actually made my stomach upset!
