Trip was fun....got there on Friday and ate at Paula Dean's Lady & Sons restaurant...it was good, but nothing special, but we were glad we did it. Went on a tour of Savannah in a trolly, to get an overview...aldo did a day trip to the Beach - Tybee Island and then on to Hilton Head Island. Liked Tybee, but wasn't very impressed with Hilton Head.

It was very cold at night down near 30....I know some of you would kill for that, but for these two Floridians it was cold.

Also ate at a place called Cleary's for lunch wiuch was real good. I've been told it's featured in some movie....we did a tour of the birthplace of the lady that founded the Girl Scouts...the house was done in early 1900' stuff...and that was very cool.

I'd certainly recomend the city for a long weekend.
