Authorities say a 19-year-old woman has been killed in an early morning accident in Rapid Valley.

It happened about 1:30 a.m. south of East Highway 44.

The woman was traveling south on Reservoir Road when she lost control of the vehicle.

She was taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital but died.

Her name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
