I do. I'm not sure if I can blame football. We did watch that and then House. I am a bit stuffed up and my throat hurts. I would like to go back to bed. But I have a bunch of work due to the partial day on Monday and then the snow day on friday. *sigh*

I do, and I didn't purposely stay up to watch football. I was just dragging to get out of bed this morning. It's foggy outside so I guess that must be why.
Its really foggy and icy this morning. School is starting at 10:00am.
I'm far from "normal" but feeling a little better this morning. I woke up in a pool of sweat a couple times during the night, I think the fever finally broke. I'm back down to 99.5 now and my head isn't pounding like it was.
I'm going to get the boy to school but plan to come right back home and rest today. I've got plenty of work I can do here from under my blanket in my recliner.
Good morning all! It's my first day back at work since the day after the car accident, so everything seems a little surreal. It's a bit of a struggle getting back into the swing of things but I'm glad to be back. It's so boring staying home!
Web, I hope you feel better soon and I'm glad the fever is subsiding. Lots of liquids!
JD, I have to say you are anything but ordinary. Go have some coffee, that'll liven you up!

I was just about to get the boy up and start him getting ready for school. I checked one more time to make sure school status hadn't changed and it just did. School has been called off for the day. That means I don't have to get out at all. That also means I won't have the quiet time I was looking forward to.
The boy just came out of his room, saw how late it was and said "No school today?" as he flashed a big grin. Now he's watching monster trucks.
morning, folks. can't stay to play. it's cloudy and a balmy 65 right now in the tulsa metro; looking forward to 74 and thunder storms today, but tomorrow it will be 34 and possibly light snow -- normal oklahoma winter...
hope everyone has a beautiful day!

It warmed up a little and the streets are good enough that Mrs Web came home for lunch.
She's warming me up some chicken noodle soup.
Not feelin' so good again. Temp is back up to 101 and headache is back again.
I'm sitting around here feeling sorry for myself while just about five blocks away a fellow church member/friend is dying from cancer . . . I guess I don't have it so bad.
Web, you've had a high fever for what, 2 days now? Go see a doctor.
What she said...there's a lot of sinus and ear infections triggered from the viruses that are circulating now, and fever is the first sign. Get some meds, man!

My husband just made another appointment for tomorrow. Still having trouble breathing. I think he is gonna look into getting a breathing machine at home.

It started Saturday evening. I called the dr and asked what they thought. She said there are a lot of people around with the same symptoms and its almost all been viral . . . meaning there is not much they can do to help. The boy and Mrs Web have been fighting a cough for two weeks and she said the same thing for them. Nothing other than the cough.
She said "You can certainly come in if you want, but at this point I doubt we'll be able to help you with any meds yet. I may see if Mrs Web can go get me some Motrin, I've just been using Tylenol so far.
The boy was just now eating an choco-chip/M&M/oatmeal cookie and he left a tooth in the cookie. He was like "Man, I wish they all came out that easy!"
She didn't really say but I'll see how I am tomorrow. All we have here is Children's Motrin and Tylenol. Mrs Web just went to get me some adult size strength Motrin . . . . I'm afraid it won't be that yummy grape flavor though.
Here it is, late Monday and I'm just getting to the forum again. I checked our weather forecast before signing in here and we're under another winter storm watch for tomorrow night through Wednesday......5 to 9 inches of new snow is predicted. Even though we haven't had a huge amount of snow (12 inches or more at a time) all these smaller storms sure are adding up this year!!
