Hey, I don't know if Trish is a football fan, but our Pack put a pretty good whoopin' on the Rams Monday night!
I was reading the St. Louis Post-Dispatch online and the fans are calling for Mike Martz' head. Gotta love that!
After a 1-4 start the Pack is looking pretty good despite a shaky defense.
Do we have any other football fans in the forum? And if so, what's yer team? I'm sure it will be the home team from whatever state you're in, but then again, maybe not.
With the playoffs coming up, it would be nice to know who backs who so we can have some threads discussing the games.
My team is of course, the Titans! Looks like the highlight of our season will be when we smoked the Packers a few weeks ago(guess you did not enjoy that game too much Jeremy!) because no playoffs for us this year.:(
I'm a Detroit Lions season ticket holder. We live by the motto "there's always next year". If we don't beat Arizona on Sunday we will be saying it again on Monday.
Actually, that Titans game might be JUST what we needed! You guys may have done us a huge favor.
I think the team finally realized what trouble they were in when you guys came into Lambeau and smoked us.
Our home-field advantage was gone ever since Atlanta kicked our butt on our field two years ago in the playoffs.
We haven't lost since you guys beat us!
This week against Philly is going to be VERY hard, but if we win, we have to be considered a serious contender.
Next year for the Titans though! They'll bounce back, although it's sounding more and more like McNair is serious about hanging it up, that would be a setback for you guys.
Are you guys staying loyal to Harrington? I've read some pretty ugly stuff in your papers about him, sounds like fans and even players are already starting to turn on the guy.
It takes a while for a guy to get it together usually, and Harrington seems to have some real talent (of course, I don't see him every week like you do). But just look at Drew Brees, a dog one year a super hero the next.
The fans are split 50-50 on Harrington. I like him and think he can do a good job in the future, but it looks like he is not going to be given the time to develope. It's funny you mentioned Drew Brees because there is talk that the Lions will try to sign him in off season to give Harrington some legitimate competition.
Even though I have lived out here in Idaho for the past 10 years and in Alaska the 5 before that my heart still belongs to my home state team of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Most people wouldn't readily admit this but I am a die HARD Browns Fan. Have been since I was kids. Things are looking up the "Butch" gone. Hopefully we will go onward and upward.
You must have loved that game against Cincinatti the other Sunday!
I forget if you came out on the winning or losing end of that, but either way, HOLY COW, what a game to watch if you like offense! If you're a fan of defense you probably went though atleast four bottles of Pepto
I can assure you it wasn't the browns on top. Of the the teams the should've, could've beat the lost! ****es me off! I'm so glad there is going to a coaching change
I am not a football fan. I like high school football and I love to play football with my son and nephews (boy it burns them when I beat them), but I'm not into pro football. I am a die hard St. Louis Blues hockey fan. Us die hard hockey fans are not having a good year this year. My husband is a die hard anti-Redwings fan. If you would have told me in high school that I would love hockey, I would have laughed and laughed.

I kind of figured you for the type to throw on a jersey, sit on the couch and really yell at the TV, then do a little victory dance for your husband after your team whooped his team (you know, just to rub it in a little)
Hey Trish - I am with you on missing hockey. The Predators finally made the playoffs last year and were getting people in Nashville interested again and then the momentum gets killed by this lockout! The Blues always have a large contingent of fans that comes over here when they play the Preds - great fans.
Jeremy - you should adopt the Predators as your favorite hockey team. The team owner, Craig Leipohld lives in Milwaukee and Milwaukee is where our top minor league team is.
