Happy Wednesday to you all...hump day is almost over here in Australia!

I am doing well, recovering slowly from my last accident but at least I am alive still! smile.gif LOL I am loving my pimped out crutches my friends custom painted for me! They are pink and they attached some bling to it! LOL I must have the only crutches with diamantes attached! laughing.gif If I was a source of amusement before you should see me now! hmm.gif I am very noticeable around town!

Anyway I hope you are all well and have a terrific day! I raise my crutch in good health to you all!

I'm at work today but really could have used a snow day. I did not sleep last night. Tried a few hours in bed but ended up going out to the recliner in the living room. I cannot lean back at all or I cough. But I still could not sleep even out there. We lost power briefly right after I went out to the living room so then I had to make sure the alarm was still set, turn off the outside light that got stuck on and fix the fish filter that suddenly got very loud from the stoppage of water flow.

So basically I am here, but I do not want to be but I have no choice.

Good day all.

Last night I think I hurt my back.  I stopped at the grocery store to get a few things we'd run out of, and thought I could carry it all out to the car myself.  But it was probably one bag too many.  When I got home, my back hurt, and it still hurts today and feels stiff.  I've got a heat pack on it and took a naproxen, and it's feeling better.

Last night, I also found the best ice cream ever!  It's new Ben & Jerry's Cake Batter Ice Cream.  Yum!

Morning all. I made it! Tomorrow is E's surgery, so today is my Friday. We made it through the storms, it was worse up north.

Hey everyone.

Today is my Friday too, here at the shop anyway. The boy's spring break starts at 2:00pm today and he's off until Tuesday so I'll be hangin' with him and working from home. Last night, he was in the 1st and 2nd grade play. I think it would have been fun, but the sound system was not right and we couldn't hear them at all. I got 25 minutes of video of kids moving their mouths.

Winter is back here . . . cold and windy.

Good morning everyone. I am at home sick againcry The doctor's office called and said that my bloodwork had come back and I have the flu.

I guess that it will be another day of feeling miserable.

Happy Humping..I got woke up by a furnace repair guy wanting to come over in about 15 minutes. I have been up for and hour, taken a shower, got dressed, cleaned up the house, fixed A breakfast and got my furnace serviced. Can I take a nap now?

I am sure that if you have the flu this close to when he was there...he has it too.

He needs to go to the doctor unless you can get your dr to call in a rx for tamaflu for him??

Speaking only for myself, I delay going to the doctor because I don't want to pay $80 to hear: "its just a virus and there is nothing we can do about it . . . let it run its course."

So I wait. Then, after a few weeks I finally give up and go in, pay $80 to hear: "why didn't you come in sooner?"

Speaking as a mother, if you have the flu and you two probably kissed while you were together, he probably has the flu. People die from the flu... go to the doctor...

My back is starting to sweat. I think I need to take the heat pad off for a while. But it doesn't hurt anymore, it just feels a little stiff.
