Good day all.

This week has been surreal.  I think I'm getting burnt out on life in general.  I want a vacation.  One of those where they put you in a coma.

I was so there last week Mz. I hope things get better soon.

Tonight should be fun. Gonna go see Bob Mould (Husker Du, Sugar) at Shank Hall. I've been diggin his new stuff a lot, so it will be the kind of show where the fact he'll do the classics as well will be bonus. His latest single is the song on my myspace page, stop on by and have a listen. I've been diggin that song for a month now.

Took tomorrow off of work as well just to have a fun impromptu 3 day weekend. Gonna stay in town, the original plans weren't able to pan out, but it will still be fun.

yay! Shows back on Sunday Night too. My friend Randy at work burned me a best of Oingo Boingo cd he just got, so I'll be featuring a couple of old deep cuts by them for sure. Maybe if I pick up the new Mould cd, some from that as well.

I hope JR is gettin well, and is not just whinning about sniffles.smile.gif

ok I'm back but busy! My husband was up here helping my straighten out a giant paperwork mess! He had to implement some new job numbers and things got screwed up by other people. hmm

Sparky bought me a new CD a few days ago...its got some songs I know JD would love. I will try to get them into format to play on the air before this weekend. They are hilarious! JD pm me the email address I can send em to.

today is an interesting day at work. we are running a silent action right now on different items on display that we donated. All the proceeds go to charity. there will be a live auction at 2 pm. maybe I'll go if I'm bored.
there's just like easter gift baskets and home made goodies and stuff I see so far.

well I got out bidded on the one item I might have liked- a starbucks gift basket. 2 starbucks mugs, and different assorted tazo teas and coffees in it. It would probably retail for $30 I am guessing, but I cut my bids off at $15. don't want it THAT badly.

Afternoon all,

Hey, I am home. All went well. I am gonna lay down with her. She's been throwing up and they gave her something for it that is making her sleepy. I have been up since 4, so I am sleepy and gonna take a nap when I can.

They did not pull any teeth and the front teeth have a porcelain filling, so they look untouched. She is somehwat swollen, but not too bad. The surgery took four hours total. Can you believe that? I got my taxes done! Well at least ready to take to the accountant tomorrow. I was missing one paper!

Hope everyone is well. Praying for ya Riggs.

Glad to hear it went well, Ruby. I've heard of a lot of kids that get nauseous from the anesthesia. I hope she gets over it soon.

Speaking of nauseous, I wonder if part of my lunch was bad. My stomach got so upset all of a sudden, and I feel really warm (which is really rare for me, especially in winter). I'm hoping it'll pass soon.

Well, I gave it my best shot, but I didn't have the strength to work a full day. I am still very weak.

I just talked to Riggs and he is still not feeling well. He has some relatives that are going to take him to the doctor tomorrow. He has no appetite, can't walk more than ten feet without getting winded and he is very weak. I will keep you guys updated.

Yikes...not good. A few people at work are down with a virus that escalated to pneumonia...I hope that isn't what's happening to Riggs. cry I will be chanting for both of you to heal quickly!

I just finished helping my youngest daughter write her very first thesis paper for her English class.  It was kind of tough to do.....she had to contrast and compare Mr. Keating (from the movie Dead Poets Society) with a teacher she's had.  It's been a while since I saw the movie and she had to fill me in on parts I had forgotten about, but I think between the two of us, we did a pretty good job on it.  I hate when teachers introduce new things for students to learn to write....they never specify how they want it to be done, and since I'm from "old school", it usually isn't the way they do it now.  hmm

Ruby, glad that little E came through her surgery ok.  It's not unusual for kids to get sick from anesthetics, and the stuff they give them for nausea usually works. 

Hope JR doesn't have pneumonia!!  His symptoms sound like that's a possibility.cry

Glad your shows will be back on JD!!  Would love to hear some of the CD you got today! smile
