Go on the road with Meat Loaf, the multi-platinum selling rocker, during the first leg of his 2007 Bat Out of Hell III tour across Canada. The tour, however, almost gets completely derailed early on by an unexpected media controversy that leaves the singer-songwriter shaken to the point of questioning his entire musical career. But the show must go on and the singer performs in eight different Canadian cities and belts out some of his biggest hits, such as "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)", "Took the Words", "Two Out of Three", and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light."

I checked out the trailer and this is SOOOOO cool. It's a behind the scenes look at the tour and the stress Meat is under.
It's funny too because last week I bought the concert DVD for this tour (called 3 Bats if anyone is interested) and I thought to myself that A) He's starting to really show his age, B) His voice is not very good anymore (and you have NO IDEA how much it hurts me to say that) and C) The girl he sings with now is way too young and he should have paid Patti Russo whatever it took to keep her on the tour.
Reading the reviews of the movie, all those three items were the source of the stress, particularly some Canadian reviews that really rip on him for using such a young girl on the duets. I beleive the term pedofilia was tossed about!
It should be an interesting movie, I can't wait til it hits DVD.
I've really been enjoying his gameshow on Direct TV - Rock & A Hard Place. But his voice craps out even when he is speaking on that. My husband was right when he said "It's like he's talking on the top of his cords." Yep.
