I've remained in contact with "Fuzzy" even after she quit coming around the forum quite some time ago. Most of that contact has been short, silly text messages like "Lets have a soda now" which usually happens around 10:00am.

I've been texting back and forth with her today and it sounds like she is quite fortunate and thank goodness she's ok.

She has a "friend" who is a guy that she spends a lot of time with. It makes her mad if you refer to him as "the boyfriend" though.

Anyway, Saturday night, she was driving with him as a passenger when they were hit by a drunk driver. For the most part, they are ok. He's doing pretty well and she still has a sore back. They were stopped at a stop sign and the drunk didn't even slow down before trying to make the corner and he hit them basically head on.

So, again, thank goodness that they were not more seriously hurt.

She is quite pissed off about it becuase she just got a brand new Ford Escape about a month ago . . . now it has $4,500 worth of damage that has to be fixed.

For those of you who know Fuzzy best, you know it was really hard for her to not get out and soccer kick the drunk into next week.
