As of tonight we still can't get a steady broadcast.

After a lot of research on the software's website forum it seems this is not an uncommon problem and has to do with the local cable company.

Several people report having this happen from time to time and having it last for a few minutes and sometimes for days.

I know in the past we've experienced it as well, but never this long.

I'm going to TRY and call cable tomorrow, but I know they'll be no help.  Their so called tech department seems to know less than your average computer user. 

I'm really pretty concerned about this one.  I'm hoping I wake up in the morning and find out it's running ok again.

Looks like it's still unstable. We can live without tunes for a little while if we have to.
