Good news! Matters of the Heart will be back for good starting in June 2008! Since Riggs will be here, it will be so easy just to ride over to his apartment and start the show! I hope that you all will tune in! I will let you know a more definite date when the month gets nearer.smile

I'm really pumped about this too!

It was just logistically very hard to do the show over the phone. We had awkward pauses, never knowing when the other was going to speak, or we'd speak over each other, etc. Now the show should be GREAT.

But I think I'm looking even MORE forward to every other Friday night being a standing date night. Jenn will come over to my place, I'm going to use her as a guinea pig each time for a new recipe I try out of one of my Food Network cookbooks.

Then we'll do the show together, and afterwards spend some quality time, maybe watch a movie.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah, it'll be GREAT.

I'm already going through my cookbooks looking for some cool recipes. It'll be the one day a week (or every other week I should say) that I'll really make something special.

lol, no. Maybe this will be every Friday. I assumed she'd only want to do it the weekends Anna is gone since she'll be on the air.

But I suppose the other weekends Anna and I can color on the kitchen table while Jenn does her show.

See what happens when I ASSume?

yeah, you gotta admit though.  Most good recipes for something new aren't things kids are likely to enjoy.

I'm not talking about lemon chicken here.  I'm looking at some pretty intricate (sic?) recipes.

Things I think you and I would enjoy, or atleast be willing to try.  Anna, not so much.  no.gif

But I also have some recipes for stuff I think she'll enjoy too.  So I'll try to make those the Fridays I know she'll be with you.
