Hey LS- saw this and thought of you. DORO PESCH 8 p.m. Tuesday, Vnuk's Lounge, 5036 S. Packard Ave., Cudahy. $11. Easy joke: Doro! Doro! Doro! Explanation: Doro Pesch, the heavy-metal queen who drops the surname when performing and recording, is coming to town on April Fools' Day. No, really, she is. For those who know their metal - and in Milwaukee, that's a large number - Doro will be a familiar name from her days fronting the German heavy-metal band Warlock, which, as the name indicates, had a fantasy fetish. Upon that band's late-1980s demise, Doro continued on as a solo artist, and in a more pop-metal direction. She never had a breakthrough like Lita Ford or other rock 'n' roll women of the same period, but her powerful voice has gained her a solidly loyal following. Her latest album is 2007's "Anthems for the Champion." Fatal Smile and Bone Shaker kick off the rock. __________________ "And like Web, I enjoy throwing JR under the bus.
