I've made a plea on air but received only minimal help (thanks to those who emailed for trying though).
On the off chance a member or visitor to the community knows anything about PHP programming or MySql databases I figured I'd place this post.
I've been working for three months on a much better version of the auto-request system, but I hit a road block two months ago that I just can't seem to get around.
I have PHP pages loaded onto the net and they work. BUT THEY RUN PAINFULLY SLOW. I'm talking 3 to 5 minutes to load a single page. This is NOT normal, but I can't seem to figure out what the problem is.
If anyone is familiar with these two programs and thinks they could help, PLEASE email me at riggs@freezeframeradio.com.
Just another note, if anyone has any thoughts, let me know, I can provide you with the mirror site that's currently running the test version of the web pages so you can check them out for yourself and see how they look and how slow they run.
sorry Riggs, Like I told KD7URF, If a swift smack of the hand or a beating with a stick doesn't solve the problem, my only other alternative is a string of Curses to rival "The Diceman"...So no help here, sorry....
