well hello. today is sunday. a nice day so far. Brewers won the first 2 games of the series against the Giants so far. Game three this afternoon.

Got shows tonight starting at 7 pm CST. Stop on by if you are out in internet land. idea

I'm having an unpredictable day so far. My uncle mentioned last week that he'd like to stop by. I left him a message asking him to just let me know about what time he expects to be here, and I never heard back. He was dropping my aunt off in Cincinnati for a flight that left at 9, so I expected him before now. I double checked and her flight was on time. If he left when her flight did, he should've been here an hour and a half ago at the latest. I left him another message on his cell, but I still haven't heard anything.

Brian stayed up late last night and is still in bed. I think he might get up soon.

And our friend called, he's having a little get together for his birthday today.

So now I'm waiting to see when Brian gets up and if my uncle calls back.

Its been a busy day.

Church and lunch, then we took a bunch of Mrs Web's mom's clothes for donation to the hospital rummage sale. After we got home from doing that, the boy and I set up the electric race car set and we've been racing.

Took bottles back to the store and picked up stuff for tacos for dinner. We also cleaned up our entrance way as shoes were taking over. I have the usual laundry going on and a bit of loading of music. Oh and the Red Wings won their hockey game today. It was the last of the regular season. Here come playoffs on Thurs!

I have to get sick more often than anyone I know!!!! I have been REALLY congested the past couple of days. At first, I thought that it was allergies, but it has become very obvious that I have a cold. sick.gif I went to the drug store and got Sudafed and Breathe Right strips. I can't even begin to describe how UN-sexy a person looks in these things. The good news is that they seem to be helping a bit. So, I guess that I will sit back with my Coke Zero, Breathe Right Strips, Sudafed and tissues and watch a movie. I got "Dan in Real Life" and "I am Legend" for my birthday. I loved both movies.

Happy Sunday all!  It was another beautiful day here.  I turned the heat off yesterday and opened a few windows yesterday and today....not all the way open, just a few inches to let some fresh air in.  biggrin  I met some friends for lunch today.  We went to Olive Garden around 1:00 and I'm still too full to eat dinner.  My husband put some burgers on the grill for himself and the girls, and my oldest made up a good looking salad to go with them.  If I get hungry later, I'll just have some of the salad she made. 

FF, I picked up "I Am Legend" the other day.  I thought it was a good movie too, but it bothered my 15 yr. old.....she had nightmares after watching it.  cry

hey woo- michigan is still big on refunding for glass bottles hey? Every once in awhile I'll see a beer bottle that says Returnable in Michigan for 10 Cents! or whatever amount it is now. When I was a kid, I'd ask my dad if we could save up all our Pepsi bottles so we could go to Michigan and get money!smile.gif

yeah we gots the returnables. Ours are mostly cans and plastic bottles but we have occasional glass bottles.

Yeah, we still have 10 cent refunds on bottles and cans JD.  My brother has lived in other states and other countries, and every time he'd come home for a visit, we'd have to go through the trash to get all the beer/pop cans out that he would throw away.  It took him a year to get used to saving them once he retired out of the service and moved back to MI.

to be honest I mostly just loaded them and haven't had the chance to really listen. I was happy about some stuff that you sent because I wanted it. smile Some songs I didn't even think about and then when I sa wthe tittle I said" oh yeah!"

I had a blast loading it all up and listening to discs I haven't listened to in quite a while, haha. 

Good thing you're not doing a metal militia show.....omg, I think have at least 1,000 cds for that genre.  ashamed

Hi all! Great Sunday here - I got to hang out in the yard this afternoon and drink a little Delirium Tremens and have a nice lunch. It's so great to be able to enjoy some fresh air for a change! It finally feels like spring! And it's been such a great day, I feel downright euphoric. biggrin

the asaragus around here is really nice and affordable right now sandy. saw some even cheaper today I think $1.89 a pound?
lol I'm glad fuzzy is back on the forum. we used to compare asparagus prices all the time....biggrin.gif
