Glad to see the usuals again tonight!! Even Squonk has stayed around a little longer. smile Wonder what happened to Ruby? Thought she was going to drop in during Underground 80s.

G-gal, how are things with you? I read about Harley. Hope you're job is going to be safe with them!

thanks for being here friends and supporting this. smile.gif its a rough slot. knew that going into Freeze Frame. Especially because its soo unlike regular Freeze Frame. Its hard to think of this being post hey-day Freeze Frame.

But hey, who knows, the station COULD take off again like gang busters. I think Riggs would agree when I say anything we tried to promote it helped a bit, but then when we least expected it, somethin we didn't even set in place would get us noticed, and WOAH!

Either way, its just fun to be here. Especially cuz of the forum folk, yo.smile.gif

Hi Sandy! Thanks for the well wishes. I won't know if I will lose my job until sometime later this summer when they make the cut decisions. First they will offer early retirement packages to employees 55+ with 10+ years of service, and from there they will decide on the cuts. There's also the possibility that staff will be reshuffled into different areas in the company. It's a weird environment. I work in the Markweting area, so I think I'll have better chances of staying aboard - there's a lot of emphasis there. In any case, there's not too much sense in worrying until I know the deal - I'll just make sure to reach out to my leads and get my resume in shape just in case! What's new with you?

I was doin' the bbq thing for a while. Patio style! The wife finally let me bring the furniture out. We went out to the barn a brought the '97 back. Fired up on the first try! I gave it an oil change and a fresh air cleaner.
Tomorrow, I bike to work. Tuesday is Earth Day, officially. I have to drive on Tues. cuz I have the treat at our meeting.
Wednesday night is Wednesday Night Classics.
Hoping Friday will be a day of heavy metal. I would like to pick up all of my chrome and stainless.
Saturday, lawn care day.
Sunday, Jefferson Car Show and Swap Meet.

weew. then, JD. We have to get some more peeps. Does JR open the station to non owners during live shows?

Not a whole lot.  Been busy doing some heavy duty cleaning this weekend; stuff I was putting off until nice weather got here.  I still have other big cleaning projects to do but I was really happy to get some of this out of the way this weekend. 

I'm anxiously awaiting the start of summer vacation.  We're down to 7 weeks now and I'm hoping it flys by!  I'm getting antsy to get up to the cottage and spend some time there.  I'm thinking the next nice weekend we have, I'm going!

Oh how fun Sandy! It would be nice to get away for awhile to a peaceful little cottage. I'm travelling to Birmingham Alabama this wqeek so I'm sure it will be a whirlwind this week and I'll wish for something like that!

Yeah, the live shows are open to everyone Squonk. 

We got our patio furniture out this weekend and cleaned it all up.  Hooked the outdoor speakers back up.  I'm ready for summer!! smile

Yeah, it's nice to have it and be able to go to it, but let me tell ya, two places to maintain gets expensive, doubles the work, and I worry about it when we're not there.  I'm only keeping it because once my husband retires, I want to move up there permanently for the spring, summer, and fall months....and hopefully have a place down south for the winter.  That's been my dream, but we shall see how it goes when the time comes.

:( I fell asleep after a long weekend with my family. I also had a glass of wine in the bath right before his show started and that was all I remember! I put E in the bed and went and laid down and next thing I knew it was 4 this morning! We went to a strawberry festival and stayed til almost 6 picking strawberries and riding rides. There was no Nascar yesterday.
