Tag lines - I'd like your input

For the next batch of Station IDs I get, I'd like to use a new tagline.  Sometimes the artist is creative & does his/her own thing.  But not always.

"The best variety on the Internet" & "Your all-request Internet station" are both great.  But in order to mix things up a little, I'd like to get a new tagline to throw into the mix.

Any suggestions?

How about something along the lines of "WFFR...the internet radio station YOU can own. Visit Freeze Frame Radio.com to find out more."smile

Something about being listener owned could be good.  But you don't want it to be pushy either.

Maybe something along the lines of "Freeze-Frame Radio, where YOU control the music" or some kind of variation of that.

I'll give this some thought the next few days and post if anything hits me.

Sparky should get in on this, he's great at this type of stuff.

LS, did you decide not to forward the Rick Springfield to me?  Was it just too bungled?

Ooh - "Where YOU control the music" is good!  We could maybe say something about online jukebox - What was that you said on the old bumper?  I can't remember.

The Rick Springfield & Robert Sweet ones still need some work.  I'll get them to you as soon as I can, along with a couple of new surprises.  smile.gif

Aw, since the tattoos Rick is totally off my "list."  cry.gif    But I still totally admire him as a songwriter and a musician.

I gotta get going on that NAMM story for you guys to read!  I have pictures to post & everything - I'm just far behind.

laughing.gif  I'd like to see their tongues tripping over that one!  You should've seen Peter Tork trying to get through "Woo, Molly," etc... all in one breath.

Well, he loves me, so I knew he wouldn't question whatever I asked.

And he's a cutie that a lot of us have loved for years (Plus he's a big flirt) so I thought it'd be cute to have him dedicate the ID to all his girls on FFR.   Just to make it more special.

So before I went to the concert, I typed up our names - or most of our names, anyway.  I figured "MZ Hartz" is a toughie, which is why I substituted Molly.  (I figured since they're so close, MZ wouldn't mind...)  smile.gif

It's still one of my faves.

The only person I didn't get myself.

What did you think of the Kenny G one?  TOTALLY uninspired!

I think my favorite is the guy from Survivor who breaks into song. That's awesome.

I also liked the Ray Parker Jr. one, and the Fred Schneider ones are great too.

LS, you gonna track down Patty Smyth for me one day? Maybe have her profess her undying love for me? nod.gif

Yeah - Jim Peterik was great!  As soon as he finished, my husband said to me in the Comicguy voice - "Best - station ID - ev-er!"

You know, I did have a fantasy about going to see Patty at the casino, and bringing the penguin and all... I was considering it, but it was like a week night, and the casino is so far away, and I blew it off.   hmm.gif

I figured you'd just have to settle being loved by Marti from Saving Jane for the time being.

But never rule anything out!  I always carry the recorder wtih me now.  (Especially after Fred Schneider just showed up record shopping that time!)

The Dick Dale one is good, though!
