Sunday. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! :(

It's trash n' treasure day.  cry.gif

I HATE getting up early to go hawk my crap at the local flea market.  hmm.gif  But atleast it's a nice day I suppose.

Hopefully everything will sell and I won't have to do it again next Sunday!

The station is off the air until JD takes over.  I did that to make sure he can connect later.  With my days being so hectic lately we've had trouble on Sunday nights getting him started.

JD, if you're out there, you can pick up the stream whenever you want!

Everyone have a GREAT day!

Good luck at the flea market, JR. I hope you can sell your fleas.

I didn't have to get up early as the youth are doing the music at church. I still woke up normal time and then couldn't get back to sleep. I don't need to be there until about 10:30.

It sounds like we're going to work in the yard this afternoon. Its supposed to be a nice day here in the lower 70's.

Good day all!

We have to do laundry today, but that's really the only thing we absolutely have to do.

I've been wearing my glasses instead of my contacts for the past day, and my eye doesn't hurt. And it wasn't all crusty or anything when I woke up. But, I can still see the red spot in it, so I haven't tried to put my contacts in. So that probably means another day staying inside away from the sunlight (I can't go out in the sun without sunglasses).

ok riggs, sounds like a plan.smile.gif

been havin a nice weekend so far. went to Red Robin yesterday for lunch. thats a newer place up here. pretty good stuff. cleaned up a bunch of old clothes, with some to drop off at the VA. got some sushi for dinner & then a little theater by my house was playing Shine A Light so went to go see that. Its pretty cool. they took out some of the seats so that bands could play there & have like a dance floor or mosh pit. So far, Rick Derringer, Johnny Winter, and Canned Heat have played there.

Big old coctails for 5 bucks each too.

I'm kind of happy too. Next door to the theater a Gelato place is gonna open up. This used to be a very good bakery, but I'm glad this will be there. It looks like it might take a month to get set up.

This is about 1/2 a mile up from where Pam Roberts was killed at the tiny tap, which was 2 blocks away from my house. Its nice to see things still developing, instead of a retreat from the area.

The block is called Vliet Street. From 60th to 47th street is developing into a nice stretch. There's a nice selection of bar restaurants, a couple of coffee shops, the fun softball park, a new pizza place, the theater, the art gallery that showed squonks stuff, the radio station that I'm going to volenteer for maybe is there, a custard stand.

Well hello there everyonesmile I was up bright and early working in my parents' yard. I am back at home now, and I am about to start cleaning my own house. I don't understand why I love taking care of my parents' home and I HATE cleaning my own homehmm

It is a beautiful day here! Some might call it perfect. I hope that everyone has a great day!

Good day all! It's really nice out today - 60's and sunny, a perfect day to get some yardwork done! I'm going to work on trimming down the hedges that are so overgrown right now. And maybe we'll get the lawn mowed. And definitely there will be a frosty beer or two involved in that process. laughing.gif

It really feels like spring now, and it's exciting! My favorite farmer's market is open again and will soon have some great stuff for me! I'll be planting some new herbs this season, since I have so much left over from last year. There's lots of opportunity to grill out, too! I love it when the spring seems to come on full force! smile

Hi you all. I myself, got up a bit late today. I didn't sleep well last night, and obviously it caught up to me this morning, cuz when my alarm went off for me to get up for church this morning, I hit the snooze button twice. yawn.gif

I did make it to church about 3 minutes late, but I made it! The Pastor said some great things again, and I wanted to stay for "May Breakfast" in the church basement after service, but I went out and did some errands, and spent a bit more money than I wanted. hmm.gif Whatelse is new??!!??

I have the $600 rebate from the IRS spent already, and I haven't even gotten it yet. I guess that is what they wanted. And I am doing it!

The weather sucks..cold, dreary, raw, showers, cold!! Only 40 + or so degrees... Yuck!

Because deep down in your subconcious you're hoping they'll say "Jenn, you do such a good job keeping up the house, why don't you just keep it" smile.gif

laughing.gif You may be right. Too bad I couldn't afford it even if they gave it to me.

My wife asks me all the time why I will go help a friend do something at the drop of a hat (and be happy to do it) yet there's stuff around here that doesn't get done. For me, its pretty simple, when I go help a friend, they appreciate it. It feels good to be appreciated.

I think it's being appreciated, and having company or help. If someone were cleaning my house with me, or at least talking to me while I was cleaning, would make a huge difference.

I agree, Mz. It's actually kind of fun for me to help someone else clean or get organized. SOmehow working together to help someone out isn't nearly as overwhelming as trying to tackle all the things on my to do list. laughing.gif
