Must Watch Shows

What shows do you "have" to watch during the week? I don't have as many as I used to.

Survivor, Reaper and ER are on my current line up.

About the only show I try to watch on a regular basis is Ghost Hunters.  Sometimes I'll watch re-runs of CSI; I haven't seen any of the new episodes, ha.

My kids like Top Chef and America's Top Model.....I think that's the one; Tyra Banks model show.  confused

Oh, we watch American Idol too, It's not a must though. I think this years line up is full of weirdo's. They just act weird and say off the wall stuff.

We don't normally watch a whole season of AI but we did this time. I like most of the people. weirdface

If I had to narrow my shows then Thursday is my must see along with Bones and House.

Most of what you guys are watching I've never heard of.  I watch old movies at night or do a lot of reading.  smile

Ours is a pretty pitiful list, since we only get PBS. And none of these are really go-out-of-our-way to watch shows. More like watch TV times instead of doing all the other stuff we normally do.

Saturday afternoons (which are really for my husband more than me, but if I'm around I'll watch): Julia Child, Victory Garden, New Yankee Workshop, This Old House, and Hometime.

Saturday nights it's Are You Being Served, Red Green, Austin City Limits, and Sierra Center Stage. And usually the Short List.

Sunday mornings if we're awake, we watch Wild Chronicles, Burt Wolf's Travels, and Motorweek.

Sunday nights, I'm pretty addicted to Ballykissangel. Out of all of these, this is really the only one I'll go out of my way to watch. Right before that is Antiques Roadshow, and right after is Nature. Every once in a while, we'll also watch Masterpeice Theater, but that depends on what's on.

And during the week, if we think about it, we like to catch Nova.

Me too - movies and books are my thing mostly. I watch a little TV, but there's nothing I can't miss. Sometimes I like watching Project Runway or Secret Lives of Women. I'll go on the laptop and watch old episodes of House or Law & Order. I love watching the series DVDs for Rescue Me, My Name is Earl, Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under, and Deadwood.

Of course Mythbusters for me when they are new ones.

There are several other shows that I enjoy watching, but thats about the only one I will try to plan other things around.

The last few weeks we've been watching "Little People" with their house remodel. Matt is in way over his head (no pun intended) ((ok, maybe somewhat intended)).

We watched "Biggest Loser" pretty faithfully this time which took us away from most of Idol so we really don't know who is who on idol and haven't gotten into it this year.

G-gal, I just finished 3 books you might like.  Black, Red, & White by Ted Dekker.  You have to read them in order to know what's going on in them.  I think you might like these!!  smile

My lineup is:

Monday - wasted day. Hubby has control of the television and I'm forced to sit through wrestling. This is usually the day I clean out the refrigerator or bathroom. Can you tell how much I love wrestling?

Tuesday - I used to watch biggest loser, but it's over so I watch whatever.

Wednesday - Top Chef. I used to be a cook, and love making new recipes, so I love this show.

Thursday - My night! Survivor, CSI.

Friday - Usually not home.

Saturday - Still cleaning house! MP3 player on and dancing around my living room.

Sunday - Cold Case and Dexter.

I like to watch Big Brother, too. I used to watch Extremem Home Makover, but I have stopped for my own health. I was experiencing massive dehydration after the show and a raw throat from the body wracking sobs. I can't watch it without crying a river, therefore, I don't watch it. Still love Ty, though. Yum. smile.gif

Ooh! I like Dexter too! I watched the first season and part of the 2nd on Showtime until we moved and opted not to do all the movie channels this time so I am waiting until it catches up on CBS.

It's like a guilty pleasure. When I saw the previews, I was like "there is no way I'm watching this sick, twisted show!" And then I watched it. I guess I'm the one who is sick and twisted, cuz I love it. smile.gif

I talked to a girl here at work and she feels the same way I do about Dexter. She loves it, but she's kind of bashful about admitting it. Then again, she admitted today that she has become addicted to WWE. I'm starting to worry about her. worry.gif

Oh, I forgot that we usually try to watch "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" too. The boy really likes to try to answer the 1st grade questions. No matter what the answer is, it always ends up "yeah, I knew that".
