The other day, two men in suits showed up at my doorstep. One was carrying a backpack. They said that they were going through my town, talking to people about cancer. Then they asked if they could come inside and talk to me about it. Now, I am all for anything that will speed up a cure for cancer. However, in the times that we live in, I am NOT going to let two strange men into my house. I told them that I just didn't have time to talk and that I really didn't feel comfortable letting them in my home.
Yesterday, they come back. I tell them that I appreciate what they are trying to do, but I just don't want them coming in my house. The guy tells me that what he has to go over, takes about 20-30 minutes and it's impossible to go over when we are standing outside. I tell him that I am still not letting him in my house.
He comes back TODAY!!!!! I asked him who he works for and he gave me a name of a company that I have never heard of. I told him that if he comes back, I am going to contact that company and report him.
My problem is that if I have told you that I don't want you in my home, then don't ask me again to come in my home!! Am I being rude? I am just trying to be safe.

FF, if it were me, and they came back three days in a row, I think I'd call the police and report it to them. In today's world, you never know, and you can never be too careful.
I agree with Ghost. That's creepy. Most salesmen of any type, religious and nonprofit included, will just give you their spiel at the door without demanding to come in. I'd call the police if they come back.
