To quote Elton John- "Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday"

I'm going to go in to work for a few hours. 8:30 till maybe 12:30. I actually don't mind going in Saturday for a little while. Its like work the way it should be- no interruptions, left alone to make progress on projects undisturbed.

If the weather holds up, I'll grill out some dinner tonight.

Happy Saturday.

I got the fertilizer/weed killer put on the lawn this morning while it was still wet. Yay, more mowing!

I went to tai chi club this morning, then we did a tai chi demo for the Y at farmer's market, grabbed some lunch, and then we did recycling.

Now I think I'm going to be lazy for a while. I can't get up anyway, I'm being pinned down by a cat.

Here it is after 10:30 pm and this is the first chance I've had to check into the forum today.  I was out grocery shopping most of the afternoon and I did my part to stimulate the economy....spent $600 of my government money stocking 3 tall pantries full of canned/boxed/paper goods.  This should last us for the next 6 to 8 months, if not longer, which is exactly why I did it.  After I got home from the stores, my dad came over and said he was getting each of his kids a gift....he's buying me and my 2 brothers each a side of beef for our freezers.  I was dumbfounded and didn't know what else to say except thank you very much Dad!!  Looks like I'll be saving mega money at the grocery store for a while...the only thing I'll have to buy will be dairy products.

I noticed a lot of people were out doing huge grocery shoppings today.  There were a lot of families pushing 3 or 4 carts loaded with canned food/paper products.  I think they all had the same thought as me.......the price for food is only going to go higher so better take advantage of today's prices.
